When I was a kid we would make all our sandwiches for the week and freeze them. (i grew up in a large family)Now, I make mine the night before and refrigerate and it's always fine the next day. I freeze leftover pasta and rice/chicken dishes. Most meals freeze well.

Congrats! You've worked hard!

This is a very light cheesecake but easy & very delicious! I didn't have berries, but topped with some chocolate syrup. It was delicious! LIGHT LEMONBERRY CHEESECAKE Vegetable oil cooking spray 1/2 cup whole-wheat graham cracker crumbs 8 ounces (1 package) light cream cheese, cut into quarters 2 cups light cottage cheese 3…

Do measurements too, because it's more than just the weight on the scale. You might find yourself gaining muscle and your weight might stay the same at some point. Good luck!

Chicken breasts Pour a can of Rotel over the chicken. (add black beans or corn if you'd like or taco seasoning but not necessary) Bake for about 30 minutes at 350 or until 170 degrees Then I sprinkle some shredded cheese over each breast before serving.

Yes, plain greek yogurt with the ranch mix works well too!

Giving up caffeine helped me a lot.

Seems like they need marriage counseling....a good husband should only encourage his wife to be healthy. That being said, perhaps if she just resists the junk or cuts back she will start to lose weight and her actions will speak for themselves. I can't imagine any husband not wanting his wife to look her best and be…

Have you tried a counselor? Perhaps one can help you work through some of the issues. Good luck!

I also struggle with lots of joint pain. My orthopedic dr stated that swimming is the best exercise you can do for your joints. I however, don't really care for it) I walk a lot and do Pilates. I also believe strengthening your core helps. I do an old pilates video from Denise Austin that is great. I'm sure there are some…

I use other restaurants that might be similiar. For example I went to a local pizza place and I thought their pizza very closely resembled Pizza Hut's thin pizza. So I just went by that. I don't know any other way to do it.

Cheerios, or Cinnamon Life are my staples. But I do like the new Cinnamon Chex. And I treat myself to Capn Crunch once in awhile!

I'm a full-time working Mom with 2 teens at home still. I am not a morning person, but I do try to do about 5 min strenthening and streching exercises most mornings. I try to exercise more in the evenings. I just bought a Tony Horton 10 minute workout DVD. I figure 10 minutes is better than nothing on busy days. I've also…

I just had some Raspberry Lemonade Gatarode (G2 I think) this week. It was really good, and very low calorie.

Here's an article from Mayo Clinic about artificial sweeteners. FYI if you're interested. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/artificial-sweeteners/MY00073 I gave up diet coke a couple years ago, for a couple weeks. I didn't lose an ounce but I did realize I was sleeping so much better. I realized the caffeine was keeping me…

Stretching defnitely helps, but also you probably need to work on your abs to keep your back supported. My experience is they go hand in hand. A good physical therapist that specializes in backs is well worth the money.

Bake with a can of rotel poured over it, or use can use salsa. Then top with some shredded cheese just before serving.
-
Plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Tastes the same!

I have an old Denise Austin Pilates DVD that I use. It works your abs well. You could probably find some on youtube.

Try to take some time on the weekend to prep some meals or sandwich items. When I had those busy times we ate alot of PBJ and ham sandwiches. Take it easy on yourself, Subway is better than McD's and this is where your life is now. One of these days the busyness will all be in college and you wll be glad you spent the time…

Take beginning measurements because sometimes you see differences there before you see them on the scales.
-
Whenever possible take the stairs!

When I first started MFP I read on many boards to measure myself and concetrate on that and not the scale. I did notice the inches coming off before much came off the scale. Try this & it gives you another incentive instead of just weighing yourself. Good luck!

You got it! Congrats!

Do you have to pay for a fitbit monthly subscription?
-
Hang in there. I agree with taking measurements. I saw results there first. Remember if it was that easy none of us would need this website---and look how many people use it! Good Luck!
-
Do you all like the fitbit? Which one do you recommend?

I'm the same way with ice cream. Every night. I try to budget my calories and cut back somewhere else knowing I'll eat it every night. Easier said than done though! Good luck.

I pour a can of rotel over chicken breasts and bake at 350 degrees until the chicken is done. (30-45 min) Then I top each piece with a small amount of shredded cheese and let it melt on top before serving. You can serve with rice, veggies, etc... Very easy!
