My first marathon was a learning experience to say the least. I had a pretty solid running base before I decided to run a marathon and only missed a couple mid week short runs of my training program. Things I'm taking into consideration when/changing when I tackle the same marathon in May are: * beware of the hills. I did…

Octoer 12, 2014 Goodlife Fitness Victoria Half Marathon (first 1/2 marathon) 2:48:15 about 10 min slower than expected, but was running with someone and wanted to stay close to them. I felt really good during the whole thing, but the local support and organization were lacking compared to other runs I've done in the city…

Old Navy and Mountain Equipment Co-op or if you have a Dlcks sporting goods I believe they sell larger sizes
-
Running/Sports stores will have them. They are expensive, but is worth it to not wear cotton. Also old navy has the same things at a more affordable price, but usually only black or gray

Hi All, I'm Kelly, 28 and a teacher. I began running in Dec. 2013 thinking that 60 seconds was going to kill me (and felt like it too) with a lifetime goal of running a 5k or 30 minutes continuous. Since then I have completed 2 5ks, 4 10ks and have my first 1/2 marathon at the beginning of October :D. I have found the love…

What I do with my homemade bread is input everything into the recipe builder and in the serving size I put how many grams the entire loaf weighs once baked. When I slice some off I weigh it and put in that number. So if it weighed 42g then I would put in that I ate 42 servings. I am also thankful that I have a meat slicer…

Shock Absorber run bra. Any running store likely sells them, just make sure it's the max support ones you're buying. Also they size a bit big so don't feel discouraged if it says they don't have your size.

I just freeze them all in individual containers and microwave. Too many to type out all recipes so let me know which ones you are interested in and I send them. They are all a good helping that I pair with a big salad and other veg. my whole dinner usually comes in at 400 cals for a dinner plate full plus a big salad on…

The one I use, offers everything and they'realways adding more thing. I use itmostly for meat, dairy and pantry items I can't get elsewhere or are cheaper through them. I suggest taking a list of your most commonly used things and comparison shop, that's what I did, which also made it nice for when I happen to see those…

I haven't used that specific service, but I have used the local one for me called SPUD (Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery) that is the exact same premise. I love it and use it once a month usually. I can't speak for that service, but mine, they sent me a coupon code to use on my first several orders that really helped…

I do not cook them first. They cook to a degree, but taste more like a sliced nut than anything else. I just find that when I used quick oats that they cooked and turned the cookies into a gummy mess. Old fashioned keep their shape and texture which I prefer.
-
I know it says quick oats, but i never use them. i use either steel cut or old fashioned and they taste even better b/c they dont get gummy. the chocolate chips and nuts are optional, i use them b/c it's a nice treat and great texture Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup light brown…

As someone who has worked there, all the veggies, except the lettuce are prepared on site. Some stores will do it all in the morning, while others will do several bins throughout the day. No preservatives are added to any f the veggies. THey are merely prepared and placed in the bins fresh everyday. The meats all come…

The problem may be that you are nt eating enough. I just looked at yur profile and saw that you only need to lose 20lbs, that in the grand scheme of things is not much and therefore you shuld be aiming at losing at most 1/2 lb a week. I say give that a try for a few weeks and see, going to less calories won't help anything…
