Ballybabe....33?

Herbalife has a lot of sugar. Body by Vi was alright, gave me mucho energy and kept me satisfied for about 3-3.5 hours (which is perfect as we should eat that often anyway).

That's a great time! I've been running for a year and it still takes me 40-42 min for a 5k. It's all about YOUR pace. If you're running comfortable and don't feel like you're dying then that's a good pace. Speed will come as you get more conditioned for running.

My advice would be to invest in a HRM if you don't already have one. Staying in then right zone for what you wish to achieve makes a difference....and it's nice to get an accurate calorie burn count. I went months without one and now can't live without it. Good luck on your journey, I hope this site provides you as much…

Thanks for the advice. Mine's a Timex and says it's ok but I think I'll just use MFP cals for swimming. Took me a long time to get the stupid thing in the mail and don't want to risk wrecking it just yet. When I'm in the market for a new fancy one with GPS then I'll try this one in the pool.

I use the flavored Splenda and have learned to skip the milk/cream.

Sad because it's true.

Yes please! Going on a cruise and want to lose the 14 so I can feel stronger and not eat everything in sight!!

Everything is done by time not distance. I hate that my *kitten* busting "run" is categorized as walking.

There are so many reasons I knew I had to do it. The top one that comes to mind is my grandma, grandpa and dad always commenting on how I'm getting "big" everytime I see them as they pull out chocolates and cookies. I know they are right but c'mon, you don't have to say it. In hindsight I'm thankful as it gave me the kick…

I hate that about digital so I switched to a dial. Like people have said, pick one and stick with that one only as they will both tell you weight lost.

Are we twins??

I'll listen to anything. I just turn up the music so loud that it makes my ears hurt...that way I don't feel the pain of the exercise

I hear that! This is WAY better  and it's free!

LMAO

That's disgustingly awsome! Thanks!

I'm always over on vitamin A. If anyone knows the answers whether or not this is ok, let us know. I'm assumng it's ok becasue they are vitamins??

If it's shin splints (which feel like stress fractures) you have to slow the running down to a slow jog until the muscles get stronger. My sore shins were from tight calves. A lot of stretching, icing, ibuprofen and towel exercises helped. Elliptical is a great low impact cardio workout that will help also if you keep…

I've also found this WAY better than FB. I now go days without checking FB but I'm on here constantly. I agree it's because we all have weight and health in common so it's easier to talk to people about what's going on in your life. LOVE it! I still use FB to brag about my awesomness though

I made it through about 2 min of one episode. Don't have the brain capacity to handle it nor video games :P

If you're only drinking one can a day I'd go with regular Coke. The chemicals in diet are not worth it.
-
PERFECT way to start. That's what I used. Just go slow and steady for run portions. Slow enough that you can still talk. Speed will come in time. Good luck!

I'm a runner training for a half marathon. Try it out, it's addicting and you'll learn to love it :)

Coffees on within seconds of me waking up. First thing I do :)

I've been wondering the same....never know when/if someone replies.

It's only fitting that we be friends!

LOL. I've gotten a few funny glances when I wear my "Drink Till She's Cute" shirt. Why ruin good clothes at the gym when we can wear funny t-shirts that are also entertaining?

LMAO took me a few seconds to clue in ;) I don't think it matters where you work out. I do on carpet and never had any issues.
