I know there is 30 pages of "push up" talk going on here but I didn't find (nor did I read all 30 pages) what I need to know. What are the best exercises to do to develop the muscles needed for a push up? Are the knee push ups a good way to start? I can do those all day so I can't figure out why I can't even do 1 regular?…

HRM in the pool?
Does anyone wear theirs in the pool? Mine says it's good up to 30m but I'm scared to try it because I don't want to break it. If you do wear it, how long after getting out do you start pressing buttons?

SHIN SPLINTS
Anyone know how I can make this pain go away? More importantly what will happen if I keep running through the pain? Any long term effects? I have stretched, new shoes, iced, ibuprofen, etc. Training for a half marathon so can't just rest at the moment. HELP!
