  • All I know is that caffine dehydrates the body, so you need to have as many ounces of water as you do caffine, plus the daily recommended amount,

  • Hey there. I am a massage therapist and work on a lot of injuries/athletes. You need to rest it, because it will worsten. I find that massage is really helpful for this type of injury. The I.T.B. is a very thick fiberous tendon, and has less blood flow then, say, your quads. So a therapist can help get circulation in that…

  • I am a spinning instructor, and unless you have been to a class, it is hard to get the equivalant on your own. Spinning bikes have tension on them that you can't get from an ordinary stationary bike. It is like working out with 20lb. weights on your feet. Try a class!!! It is amazing. ~Nicole

  • Be careful if you want to run with the Nike Shocks, they are not supportive for anyone who over or under-pronates (rolling in or out after heel strike, caused by the sub-talar joint). Have your gait checked out from a running specialist, I suggest looking if there is a "Fleet Feet Sports" in your neck of the woods. Also, a…
  • I used to be a bra expert for a specialty running store in CT. So, naturally, being a large chested girl myself, I know a lot about the topic. The biggest mistake women make, is trying to get "the girls" to fit in an over the head sports bra. Unless you are a small a-b cup, or plan on standing still for excersize, it is…
  • I have been on the Acai Berry Cleanse for a few months now. Although I do not think it is the reason I have lost weight (really it is the motivation of this great site), I do however feel a difference in my digestive system. I always felt very bloated, like there was a brick in my stomach, even if I ate healthy. The pills…
