Love this idea. Hope you don't go crazy and get the $300 ones each time :D

Great idea. I'm up for any excuse to reward myself lol. And I'll be about 3 lbs off my goal in 35 days. I'll probably be getting some nice jeans.

Peanut butter toast, savory oatmeal or an avacado, capsicum, cashew and egg salad. Gah, now I feel hungry.

I used to be in a similar situation but now I am starting to see a loss in my lower body (but at almost half the rate at what I'm losing in my waist). It will come off eventually. Personally, I'm more worried about looking disproportionate.

Around the widest part of your butt.

Everyone has slip ups along the way but how you recover from it is what determines your success. When I slip up, I go on about my usual routine the very next day as if it never happened. It's okay to feel guilty about overeating but you've got to move on as quickly as possible. It will make you feel even worse if you dwell…

You can try frying oatmeal in a little oil for a savory dish and add egg, bacon, rosemary, peas etc. The oatmeal gets nice and crispy like the rice in a paella.

Quitting logging is worth a try. I know for the brief period in which I logged calories on MFP, I was stressed out and would get anxious if I was just over my calorie limit. I thought too much about various foods and the amount of calories in it. Now I just try to eat clean and eat til I'm 70% full. It's definitely working…

14.5' calves at 114. The exact same size when I was at my highest weight of 125 lbs. So far, losing weight has had no effect and I'm concerned about how disproportionate I'm going to look when I get to 105 lbs.

You'll get to a point where the loss will be obvious. If you take a look at the Biggest Loser, you don't really see it until they've lost a lot but when they do, it's a great thing to see.
-
Woah, I weigh about 50 lbs less at 5'3 and I'm the same size as you.

Is it really necessary to quote a huge wall of text and then reply with an unamusing one liner/pic? The bodybuilding.com forums are THAT way.

Probably just an excuse to make portions smaller at the same price.

Fried in 1tsp of olive oil, topped with scrambled egg, parmesan, salt and pepper.

Me too. I have to eat what my mum puts up for dinner everyday and I can't leave the table til I clear the plate(s). It might be really heavy and unhealthy one day like a 500g steak with a lot of fried egg noodles and then it could be light and healthy like steamed fish and vege the next day. So what I do is eat a light…

Yes, I've turned into a foodie and everything I eat has to be worth the calories. So if I eat icecream, it has to be my fave favour and brand or even with fruits or vege. It has to be fresh from the farmer's market.

For your hips, you measure around the widest part of your bum.

9 pounds from 127 to 118 before I managed to get from size 8 to a size 6.

Perhaps the calves are the last area that you lose fat from. So building muscle there would make your calves bigger in the short term.
-
Yes, if you eat well, you've won most of the battle. People get fat by overeating, not by inactivity. I lost 7 pounds before mfp and another 5 on top with no workouts. That being said, I'm not exactly lean so once I get to goal, lifting weights will be a priority.

I lived in my parent's bakery haha.

But sweetener is my best friend D:
-
Abstaining is easier for me. So that's what I do. I like to eat clean anyway.

$100 or less per fortnight is about average for 2 adults. And seeing as you're sharing with a baby and not an adult, your food costs are actually relatively high.
-
Happens to me as well. After days of eating well, I feel as thin as a rake. Even though I haven't lost haha.

A combination of boredom and overeating during the day. Like littlegoat, I also have an all or nothing attitude when it comes to calories. So I either eat under my goal or will overshoot it by several hundred at least. Luckily I stay under most of the time because of IF and busy schedules.

Ahhh, I was just scrolling through a tumblr food porn blog and dreaming about cheat foods to eat. My favourite would be mint cookies and cream icecream. Haven't had it in months but I'm still salivating over how nice and chewy Oreos are when they've been marinating in icecream. Also craving a toasted ham and cheese panini…

I used to be amazed at what these contestants had achieved but apparently a 'week' on the show is 9 days in real time. So now I'm cynical about Biggest Loser and other techniques that they potentially use to inflate weight loss figures. Also, losing weight is easy if you've got an entire team of professional trainers and…

I've worked at Burger King for just over a year. Working around that kind of food didn't present any major challenges to me because I generally don't eat that type of food. Although, I'd imagine it would be a problem for someone that does like fast food because you're handling the food and smelling the admittedly lovely…

I gain about 3 lbs during the 1-2 weeks leading up to it.
