Damn. Your 159 does *not* look like MY 159! :-) You look awesome! Great job!!!

Wow fantastic...great job! I remember when I was starting to learn to run (and 40 lbs overweight)..I felt like a big uncoordinated lug. I hated when other people were on the path because they'd see how red my face was and how much I was struggling for air. I just wanted to stop and give up, and then I'd say to myself "If…

Thanks everybody <3. Your encouragement means a lot!

Hey welcome back. Our histories are about the same, I'm 49, our goals are the same, our starting and ending weights are...yep, the same! :-) I didn't lose weight with MFP the first time, but aside from that...and an ocean away...we could be clones. :-) I just finished 1/2 Marathon #2..at a slower pace even than my first…

Wow that's amazing..congrats! You can *really* see it in your face!!

That's funny! Congrats on your success...must feel awesome to get rid of all of that useless clothing!!

For the food part just keep on trying to find something that works for you. There's fantastic advice all over this forum for weight loss, but even though I tried to incorporate that good advice in my diet, nothing was working for me. I *finally* found a system I can a) stick with and b) see some results from, but honestly…

Nice job! Feels great to make that commitment and stick to it..keep up the great work!!

You look GREAT! Good for you. I'm also a runner..training for my 2nd half in September, but haven't lost all the weight that you have! Friend me too if you're looking for more buddies.

You look smokin'!! Congrats. :-)
-
Congrats! I have some silvers that are patiently waiting for me in my closet..can't wait to get into them too!! Enjoy. :-)

Les Mills Bodypump is in there...so are Bodystep and Bodyattack. You have to put them in as one word and then they should come up. But definitely do be conservative in the calorie burn estimates..I think they're a little high as well.

OK thanks! Just what I wanted to hear. :-)

Not so low calorie, but it satisfies like crazy. Chocolate vita top (100 calories) + 1-2 tsp of nutella as "icing" (approx. 30-50 calories). Nom. :-)

No advice to add but thanks for posting..I do the same thing! I exercise a lot..always have..but don't seem to be able to maintain my diet for more than a few days at a time, and definitely resort to self-sabotage if I see a loss on the scale.

Definitely interested!

I'd enthusiastically grab the first slice of cake, take one teeny bite and say I loved it, then walk away with my plate and leave it somewhere. To the person who posted early in the thread that this is an anorexia-in-the-making strategy? Yeesh!! You got your tricks, baby...I got mine!!

I'm a pear and will always be a pear, but when I do yoga I do "stretch out" and become a little more proportioned.

RedRita if you've never run before you'd get GREAT results from starting a running program. Just don't start too fast..I followed a Running Room program (that might just be in Canada though..I have no idea) to get started, but most people on here mention the C25K program and they've had good results with that. Good luck!

I set my calorie target at 1500 but don't count the milk I add to coffee (2-3/day) so I'm closer to a 1600 calorie/day level. During the week I'll be doing: 3 x NROLFW 3 x running (training for my second half marathon in the fall) 1 x yoga Right now I'm not running (trying to recover from a plantar fasciitis..ouch) so am…

Hi I'm Kathy from Ottawa, and will soon be turning 49 (no really!) :-) I went to a super fun Hallowe'en party last year and didn't feel sexy at all...this year I'd really like to! SW 170 GW 132

OK I"m in too! I have a little more to lose (35!) but am working out regularly. Just need to get that old food thing under control. ;-)
-
Wow you look great!!! Good for you. :-)
-
I run a lot and never stretch before, and rarely after either. I only stretch after I run if it's a really looooong one and my muscles are tight (like after 90 minutes or more straight running). I *do* do yoga during the week and believe that helps me stay limber though, so maybe incorporating some stretching into your…

Wow that's awesome..good for you!!! :-)

6x per week. I'm currently training for my very first half marathon (woot!)...in the fall I'll cut back to 5x/week.

That's too funny...enjoy your new smaller butt! :-)

Wow that's AWESOME! Good for you..you look great and I love your huge smile. You look so happy and proud..and you should!
