cold weather, darkness, and rain:D one of my favorite things ever is curling up inside and watching it rain against a dark grey sky at like 4 pm, absolutely beautiful.

ugh, i used to spend so much too- bingeing on fast food and pastries adds up quick :/ since i started eating well, i'll spend a little over 100 every time i get groceries, and they last for 2 weeks :D totally worth it financially regardless of the weight loss!

stevia and sugar alcohols (erythritol's my favorite because of the extremely low carb content) are the only non-sugar sweeteners i like- both splenda and aspartame have a really awful taste to me (agave, while not artificial, tastes bad to me too D:) i'm glad that everything i like is on the good list :D

i live in the middle of nowhere- the closest thing to walk to is a mile each way, and it's a convenience store. getting groceries would be a 10 mile roundtrip. i walked a LOT when i lived in the city, but i wouldn't have logged it in my exercise calories :/

i estimate a lot of stuff, but i bake a lot so my guess of a tablespoon is usually pretty accurate. maybe try estimating some stuff at home and see how accurate you are? and overestimating is better than underestimating, so if you're not sure go for the higher amount :)

I've seen some people around who I've thought were rude, but I've also met a ton of really nice, sweet and supportive people, and they are by far the majority. just like in any community, there are gonna be some not-so-nice people, but keep looking and you'll find some amazing people :D

http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-rice-white-medium-grain-cooked-i20051 i always supplement with google :D since 1/2 a cup would be about 125 calories according to this (and other sites i checked), and rice roughly doubles when cooked, it looks like 1/4 cup=100 calories would be for uncooked :)
