  • urgh, i feel the same way. i have a cold or something and am absolutely exhausted, and there are a bunch of cookies in the house and i'm having a really hard time not eating the whole package :/
  • http://www.wacom.com/en/Products/Inkling so excited :D
  • i am sorry for this, but- we are supposed to log EVERYTHING that goes into our mouths, right? :P
  • i had a bunch of extra calories the other night so i got something i've been wanting for a while- a short nonfat salted caramel hot chocolate with no whip. there were like 4 versions in the database for a drink thats size isn't even on the menu :P
  • when i first lost weight back forever ago, i started thinking that other people, who i previously saw as normal-sized, were fat :/
  • sometimes i have a little taste of the bulk foods (like candy and snacks, not rice or anything), to see if i like them enough them enough to buy them. i drank a waterbottle in-store ONCE, and i was just about dying of dehydration when it happened. otherwise, no, i think that is extremely weird. i guess if i was dying of…
  • i think i'm pretty in-between- i try to stick to good foods, but if i want a cookie, i'm having a damn cookie :P
  • i had the button (and consequently zipper) on my jeans suddenly give up the ghost once- LUCKILY i was in the mall about 200 feet from a lane bryant, so i was able to go quickly pick out some pants to try on and wear them out. but it was a pretty awful walk there, i feel your pain :P
  • since my sleeping schedule is so off, i eat breakfast whenever i wake up be it 7 am or 10 pm, and go from there :) if i were you, i'd eat breakfast at about 4 pm, lunch at 10 pm, dinner at about 3 or whenever i got my break, and have a snack before or after working out. and snack whenever you're hungry! since you have such…
  • i stop logging food/exercise when i go to bed, whenever that may be- if i'm on a really bad sleep schedule, i'll start a new day at 6 am. everything evens out eventually :)
  • ...i was eating dinner as i read this, i am no longer doing so ;_;
  • i'd advise against trying to make it up- if you undereat tomorrow, you may want to overeat the day after, and it will just keep going. just work on making better choices tomorrow :)
  • i use unsweetened coconut milk atm which has 50 calories. i only really use milk IN things, i never drink it plain, and i use it instead of skim because i'm able to use those 40 saved calories for something else :) if i felt like drinking a glass of milk, however, i'd go for skim. some people really like the taste of…
  • zero calorie lifewater, vitamin water, and iced tea with stevia- i try to limit these to one every few days, however, as i don't want to be reliant on sweet drinks >_< but i'm much more interested in texture than flavor, and have always been much more likely to reach for a cookie than a soda :P
  • i think so! it's great to have people to chat with, and i can get most of my diet ranting out here, so my friend's don't get the brunt of it :P
  • it's your first day, don't be so hard on yourself! the first step is learning how many calories you're intaking, and work to cut down- if it's too hard to suddenly drop 900 calories, try to go down by 1-200 each day while staying below your maintenance calories. i don't personally pay attention to fat/sugars/etc- i just…
  • unless you are lifting 15 pound weights WITH YOUR ACTUAL UTERUS, i don't think it does anything :P i've repeatedly heard that doing fewer reps with higher weight works your muscles better than many reps with low weight. and 2 pounds? you'd have to do like 100 reps to feel anything!
  • i used to! i usually took it before, but i really just took it whenever i remembered, and i never noticed a difference :) i think that some vitamins get absorbed better when taken with food, but i'm not sure.
  • i'm thinking just because of the calorie count? one slice of cheese is about 100 calories and a glass of milk is 100-150 calories, so it can add up quickly. i only had milk if i was dipping cookies with it, or with hot chocolate, so it was an easy thing for me to cut out as it wasn't worth the calories for me. cheese,…
  • i think there are a lot of people recovering from ED on this forum, including me :) i was a binge-eater until recently, and i agree, it IS hard to get your calories up when you're trying to relearn when you're hungry, and people aren't always supportive. it took me a few weeks for my body to adjust and for me to feel…
  • just made these, they're really good! i got the recipe down to 56cals/cupcake, and the graham cracker crust was a little soggy so i think i might be able to get them down to 50 ^_^
  • http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/basil-turkey-burgers-2/detail.aspx made these last night, it was my first turkey burger and it was SO GOOD.
  • hah, i've never considered it a niche thing cos everyone i know plays it, i need to get off the damn internet ;_; but i find it boring as anything, so i do not play D:
  • i just made some awesome turkey burgers tonight :D http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/basil-turkey-burgers-2/detail.aspx used fat free greek yogurt instead of mayo, left out the milk (accidentally), used extra lean turkey and orowheat thins for buns, and topped with fat free feta- came out to 232 calories a burger! :)
  • chicken, garlic, gouda is my absolute favorite <3 leave the gouda off and it's fairly healthy! :D
  • looks great to me! and btw this is totally random but my friend from australia recently sent me milo and i saw you had some- is it supposed to taste so bland? D: it didn't taste chocolatey at all to me, and i used like 4 tsp in half a cup of milk!
  • nope! my body runs on a 26-hour clock, so there are times when i wake up at 10 pm, it would be kind of useless to have a cut-off time. i usually stop eating about 3-4 hours before i fall asleep :)
  • ok, so: let's start with your BMR: that's how many calories your body would burn if you stayed in bed all day. for the sake of argument, let's say it's 2500. MFP is gonna add calories to that depending on your activity level: mine personally is sedentary, which adds about 500 calories a day. so a sedentary person with a…
  • you look amazing! do you mind if i ask how tall you are?
  • about half of my food diary is snacks, none of them over 100 calories :D sorry in advance for the long list: -celery (cream cheese optional) -carrot sticks -edamame -grapes -trader joe's pear sauce IT'S AMAZING -del monte pears in water -reduced fat string cheese -light babybels -light yogurt -sugar free jello -sugar free…
