Hey Sarah, I watched my wife put on weight after our two daughters and it is normal for the average mom, or even the above average. You were focused on something else at the time :) Now that you have made time for yourself it will be much easier.

Good points Jesung... I know that for me, doing P90X and being a Firefighter/EMS provider, teacher, father of two and amatuer athlete I need calories, protein and energy. I also need to lose weight but I cut out Dairy, carbs that are not from fiber primarily and by turning up the exercise. Check out the Syntrax products...…

Ooops, I mixed my serving vs. drink ratio's... there are 25 calories, 6g protein, 0 carbs, 0 fat per serving... I use 4 servings so I get 100 Calories, and 24gr of protein. And I think it may be a little general to say they are not healthy... when used properly, and when you shop around and get good clean protein shakes…

Sweet ride!! Mine is in "build" process right now. I took a Goldwing Interstate, stripped it naked, fabricated new exhaust, seat pan, forward controls and headlight and now I am prepping and painting. I always have had a motorcycle... well... for the past thirty years anyway :)

I do believe that is what they call a NSV!!! I just had this same convo with my wife at lunch. After 1 week of P90X I lose 7 pounds, she gains one... we both FEEL BETTER, feel stronger and already feel like our clothes fit better. Dont get hung up on the scale, just keep up the work and keep coming here!!

This is a great place. I use the tool on my blackberry to keep track of everything I eat and all of my exercise. I use the website to socialize. I am new here too.

At every break I take my pulse for 15 seconds and multiply by 4.... At the end of the work out, I average the HR and use that. There is some variance, but your heart does not slow down that much in 15 seconds. But, make sure you do it at least every 15 minutes or so so that you have a good average. I want one, but I cannot…

Mowed for an hour this morning (Push mower, wet grass,.....) cleaned basement for four hours (Several trips up and down stairs including some furniture, etc....) and now I am resting up for Kempo X (My wife already puked after doing it so I am a little nervous)
