Keep your scale, just dont use it as the only measure. Remember, the foods you eat (Sodium, caffein, sugar, etc...) and your workout all contribute on a day to day and longterm weight loss plan. I have a goal, to lose 15 pounds... by spring. So, I do not look at the scale any more than once or twice a month. I like to know…

For what it's worth... Salt, Sugar, Alcohol (Ok.. still sugar) and caffeine all have a similar effect on your fluid balance so they should all be avoided. That being said, I love me some black iced coffee.

Once my kids hit middle school they got iPhones... Up until then they are always with an adult, but MS comes with freedom and periods where they can be alone. I see no reason to not let them have iPhones over any other kind of cell phone. I was in my 30's before I had a cell phone, but who cares?
-
Your picture makes my point. Your smoking hot, and someone took a picture of you to show everyone how hard you work and how good you look. Doing it in your bathroom with your cell phone is just sad and pathetic.
-
I think the "cell phone in front of the mirror" is tasteless but I think that just a photo of you by someone else, or actually doing something can show off your hard work just as much but not come off so needy, look at me on facebook pathetic.

It's a slippery slope for someone like me... If I start looking at food as something to enjoy, rather than something to fuel my day I will eat crap. Thats what happens to me. I know oatmeal is filling and healthy so I eat it plain. If I add honey, BS, nuts, fruit and pulled pork to it it is now all of a sudden a 300-400…
-
I just choke it down plain. Sometimes in the winter my wife makes it in the crockpot... that is good stuff.
-
Also, there are just as many sources of information showing how red meat can kill you.

I think a women looks anything but unnattractive after she works out! I go to the gym with my wife... AND I could care less about her weight, just her health and happiness.

There are many ways to eat grains and not all of them are unhealthy. A donut is not the same as multigrain bread.
-
I have two standard salads.... Side: Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, peas, shredded carrots, black olives and onions... As a meal: Same as above with turkey and feta...

I have always stretched and at 44 have never had an exercise related injury....

I tend to send a lot of one time messages to people without a friends request. Just because I think someones picture is nice, a post is funny... and yeah, sometimes I think someone is just flat out HOT it does not mean I want to be their friend. Usually I just like to do drive my compliments.

Yes it will. It will hurt me, and it does every-time I cheat. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs but I have a serious addiction to food. It is like telling a drug addict that smoking some crack every now and again will not hurt them. It may not hurt someone who does not have an addiction, but it can derail someone like me…

I agree with this. The problem is, if you are a complete novice to fitness, diet and exercise you may be easily misled. And, if you see one of these posers with their cell phone infront of the mirror types flexing their muscles someone who is trying to lose weight, increase cardiovascular health and meet certain dietary…

With a body like yours astroturf would be hot....

First, no... I am married :) But, hypotheticly I suppose I can venture an answer..... It depends. I am pretty reserved, so if the woman were bald because she is bold and wanted to make a statement, I do not think we would be all that compatable. But, if it were for a clinical or genetic reason I would not care at all.

Your right, I think though what happens is two groups with two different goals try and push what is right for them onto the other groups. It works both ways.

I try to stick to multigrain, hi fiber carbs... but my philosophy is that if you eat a well balanced, RESPONSIBLE amount of calories, exercise 45-60 minutes a day then you can pretty much eat what you want. I take my chances with carbs over red meat anyday .

I wish I had your job!! I used to do the morning thing, but I hate mornings. I have to get up at 5:00 just to get to work on time so working out was a nightmare. Now, my wife and I come home from work... cook and feed the kids then we work out before we eat. We get the benefit of being flexible in time, having warmer…

Been there done that!! Good luck, I just started a second round of P90X but Insantity is a GREAT challenge... The second half is a real killer!

I can see marked results (negative) in my athletic output when I do not eat at least MOST of my calories back. Also, the whole concept of saving calories to snack on the weekends is not all that great.... The salt/sugar content of snacks have a longer impact then just the calories....

Awesome job. You have a luscious figure and it will just get better with work. I love P90X! I think ima gonna go do myself some right now....
