I loath the treadmill. I only use it when New England weather forces me inside. I have a rockin' mix on my iPod of songs I really love and know the words to so I can try to space out to the music and just get through the run.

I was on week six of the ap when I bought a new phone. My aps all ported over, but the progress did not. I downloaded a free version of hte ap, but haven't really started again yet. Are you starting week 1 day 1, or does the plan start you further in? It starts me at week 3 day 1.

I've been sucking it in for years. My yoga instructor tells us when we walk to imagine a string in the middle of our heads pulling us up tall. Square our shoulders and belly to spine. It makes for perfect posture and a nice flat looking tummy.

I must find these. I will admit I plan on enjoying these the way I currently enjoy my beloved chocolate chip poptarts ... with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

I finished C25k in December. I am doing 5k to 10k now. I usually run 2 days a week, not the three days in the plan. Typical week: Monday - run Tuesday - weights (Will be starting with a personal trainer weekly this coming Tuesday) Wedneday - yoga TH - weights Friday - Zumba Saturday - run Sunday off

I see nothing wrong with having treats. Or really eating whatever I want as long as I stay within my calories and my macros and still get good, sensible nutrition. I frequently have one poptart as my eveing snack. Or a single serve cup of Edy's slow churned ice cream. Every couple of weeks, hubby wants a pizza for dinner,…

Agreed. Sounds horrific ... but three pages of MFP'ers saying how awesome they are cannot all be wrong. I'll have to make them on a SAturday when hubby is working so he doesn't know what I am feeding to him. O:-)

This ^^^ And STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH ... gently stretch before and have a good long stretch after. Also give yourself rest days and try to mix up what exercies you do. My typical Monday through Sunday is : run; weights; yoga; weights; Zumba; run; off.

Sounds delish. Did they give nutritional info on it?

Hi! I'm the girl who always said I would only run if being chased by a crazed maniac, or if I was about to miss my bus / plane / etc. Fast forward to Summer 2012. Hubby and I are HUGE Disney fans. If it is Disney related, we want to do it. After 17 WDW trips, I discivered runDisney. An entire genre of Disney things to do…

Started running Labor Day weekend 2012. I am by no means fast. I can comfortably run 5k in under 35 minutes. I am running a 5k in Disney World the first weekend of October. My goal is to do it in under 30 minutes. My husband wants to do the race with me. It is Disney after all. However, he has no interest in training. So…

I love Strax. And Jenny & Madam Vastra for that matter. At the 8:15'ish commercial break with no sign of the Doctor I was a bit dismayed. I think my favorite snippet was the little boy Thomas Thomas. My first thought as he was babbling directions to Strax was "he's a freakin' GPS." The he gives his name. He's a Tom Tom!!…

This looks promising. But Doctor of Borg ... Really?

Two weeks ago.

Another former hater of running here. I did Couch to 5k. When I finished that I immedialtly moved on to 5k to 10k. I can comfortably run 3.5 miles at 10.5 minute miles. Yup, I am slow. Nope, I don't care. I enjoy it. It is great me time outside in the finally wonderful Spring weather.

Most of my pet peeves have alreayd been listed. The two biggest are not wiping down sweaty equipment and coming late to class. The one I didn't see yet it using the toilet stalls as your personal private changing area. My gym is small - it is for employees of my building only. There are only 3 toilet stalls in the women's…

My trainer has me put my hands by my ears rather than behind my head. Keeps me from creating a basket for my head and straining my neck. It also has my arms in a better placement for doing oblique twists than if I cross my arms across my chest. I love the idea of envisioning a steel pole as my spine keeping me straight…

I was so hopeful after Hide that the season was finally getting good. Last night wasn't bad, but seemed disjointed. I did like the references to past episodes as Clara was wandering lost through the Tardis.

Finally, a season 7 episode that was brilliant! I wasn't scared, but I was interested and waiting to see what happened next.

I am the same way. I have to force myself to take at least one day off a week. - I run 2x a week, do strength training 2x a week, yoga one day and zumba one day.
-
The outpourng of love and compassion from around the world really means a lot to us here in Boston.

I loved this. We saw a little bit more of this in Rings when the Doctor was going through Clara's past.

Congrats on the scale victory! Plateaus are the worst. I am in maintenance. Might need a little extra work this week though to plan for a trip through the North End this Saturday.

Welcome Maria. It was definitely a good feeling adding Senior to my title. I just added CSNA last week. Fairly easy course work in myHR and extremely interesting material. The East coast certainly got hammered the second half of the winter. I was still running outside into February. Then all the winter storms started to…

If the pain is really bad, you can do push ups off the wall. Sounds easy & wimpy, but 10 or 20 reps in, and you're feeling it. WHen my shoulders and / or wrists are especially sore, I'll do my push ups off the wall rather than skip the great chest and tricep workout they give. Good luck & I hope you feel better.

It was okay. I liked the speech. I liked the history of Clara and the leaf. I wasn't moved, or scared, or ... well , or anything. I don't have a strong opinion of it either way. I do hope they get better and it doesn't become a show I have to watch.

With all the walking you do at Disney, you are probablly buring more than you could possibly eat. Epcot World Showcase alone is miles around. Trust me. When we went to the F&WF last year with my Mom, she was amazed at how much I ate. I swear as soon as we pass under those magically purple gates, I start eating and don't…

Heck no. Disney is the best food ever! 181 days until hubby & I are at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
