Hi ladies! I need some accountability and friends who share the same goals. Like many I lost a significant amount of weight (60 lbs), and then I fell back into my old habits and over the last three years have gained back almost half the weight I lost. I don't want to beat myself up over my bad choices, but I want to get…

I think accepting the fact that logging food is a critical part of weight loss and maintenance is a big step. There are plenty of people who can do it without logging food. I am clearly not one of them.

I am in the same boat. Lost 60 lbs. and met my goal weight. Over the last 2.5 years I have gained back 26 lbs. I’m not going to beat myself up, and I’m not going to make excuses. I’m just going to get back on track. On a positive note, despite my poor eating habits, I have continued to exercise. I go to the gym 5 days a…

Stayed under my calorie goal yesterday. Went to the gym yesterday and today. In addition to making healthy food choices today I am going to focus on making sure I am drinking enough water - aiming for 10 glasses a day - and doing something I enjoy. Keep up the good work everyone! You got this!

@echoroyal79 Thanks for the welcome. I will definitely have to be creative. The inability to clean easily will make things especially difficult. Not real excited at the prospect of washing dishes in the bathtub. 😳 But I have only promised “real meals” for dinner for the rest of my family. There are plenty of easy options…

I work full-time as an administrative assistant at our church. I lost 60 lbs with diet and exercise. I met my goal weight. Now over the last 2.5 years I’ve gained back 26 lbs.…

I never thought I could workout in the morning. I am up at 5:10 and at the gym by 5:30. As many others have mentioned prep is the key. Workout clothes, work clothes, breakfast and lunch prepped the night before. I can be ready to head out the door in 15 minutes. I’ve been working out in the morning for about 2.5 years. It…

Here is my basic routine. * 10 minutes cardio warm-up - usually elliptical * 45 minutes minute strength/weight machines - I alternate days. One day I do legs and core. Next day I do arms and back. Typically I do 8-9 machines total. * 30 minutes cardio - usually elliptical but a couple times a month I do treadmill * 5…

I've had a few men comment on my weight loss. For perspective I am married and 50 years old. One comment was from a 30 something former co-worker who hadn't seen me in several months. He was very surprised and said something like, "You look fantastic!" I've had a current male co-worker who is very positive in a…

I've had all positive reactions. I went from 208 lbs. to 160 lbs. in 8 months. I'm 5' 10". In addition to the weight loss I'm wearing much nicer clothes. I've had women and men be very complimentary. Sometimes when someone who I haven't seen since I lost weight I get a really surprised reaction. It can be a bit…
