1200 calories doesn't leave a lot of room. I would just focus on the fat and calories for today and hit the protein harder. Cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs and you get the picture. Tuna is also pretty low calories. We all have days where we go over. The important thing is to get on track the next morning. Good Luck

You lost a lot of weight very fast. It is probably a matter of your body regulating your hydration levels. Just to gain one pound, you would have to eat 3500 calories plus maintenance calories. Even with a blow out that would be almost 6000 calories in one day to gain 1 pound. I doubt you ate that many calories.

I have a thyroid problem and still lose of the MFP guidelines. A 1000 calories isn't much. Are you on medication for your thyroid? I am losing about a pound a week (same as you) on 1480 calories but I am on Thyroid Medication.

The dietician told me that a calorie is a calorie. Obviously, some calories are better than others but as long as you stay within your MFP guidelines, you will still lose weight.

I changed my MFP weight loss goal to a half of a pound per week today. I am just going to do the best I can and hope I don't gain. I have a thyroid issue and already lose weight slowly. Happy Holidays

I noticed when I got to the 10 pound lost mark, it ask if I wanted to recalculate my calories based on weight loss and I said yes. It did lower my calorie allowance.

I enter my food into my diary before I eat it. It helps me stay on track and if something has way more calories or fat than I thought, I just delete it and find a better food choice. Good Luck
