• The incline that I do is as high as my treadmill goes. So I do know I'm burning the calories. I've not got a lot of weight to lose, I just need to tighten up what I have. So I suppose I will have to do a little more work. I do enjoy the walking. It really gets me moving in the mornings and I've found that I stay kind of…
• Thank you all for the info. I kind of figured that but there was a discussion with some peeps and it had mixed answers. I think I will start doing the 6 week 6 pack in the morning and the walking in the evening. I am staying within a 1400 calorie day. Thanks everyone!
• Okay... maybe a little more info. I am walking at the very least 2 miles a day at 3 1/2 mph. Does anyone know if this is going to tone just my legs or have they lost in the midsection as well b y walking? Thanks
• I eat breakfast if I am hungry. I don't force myself. My breakfast consists of 1 dippy egg and toast, or 1/4 cup yogurt with blueberries and granola, or a bagel and cream cheese. IF I don't eat it, I am usually starving by 10 and then will get the munchies and chips are my downfall. If I am not at work, I usually don't…
• I love canned chicken.I always have some on hand. I can make a super quick chicken and noodles or chicken salad or quesadilla or whatever. If I have the option of using real chicken I will. But really, it's quite tasty
• I love eggplant parmesan. But find that none can compare to my own version. I've been told that everything I eat is weird and most people would starve if they ate at my house. But I do live in the middle of hickville where venison is straight up deer (that's fancy talk LOL). Asparagus is my fav followed by brussel…
• That's a great idea. I'll have to google how to do that
• 2nd day back to work and I didn't plan well. So I had a Ramen noodle cup and a breadstick. Very filling. Not the healthiest but it's within my calorie goal. Hitting Aldi's after work to make better choices tomorrow
• I just had this for the last week. We baked it with a salmon seasoning, salt and pepper and bit of olive oil and butter to keep them from drying out. I love parmsean crusted tilapia to. Add parm and bread crumbs to the top (saves some calories) and bake. YUM
• This is in my crockpot right now. I added onion and garlic to it and will serve it with low carb tortillas. A quarter cup on each tortilla with some scallions with equal 300ish calories for 2. Great dinner! I'm very excited
• I love love love the whole wheat toritallas! But any tortilla will do! I highly recommend it
• Get the 80 calories whole wheat tortillas. I load it up with tomatoe paste, Italian seasoning, turkey pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, black olives (and any other kind of veggie I can find). Add just enough 2% mozzarella to suit you and bake until crispy. Mine usually comes in around 245 calories. And it fixes that pizza…
•
The Aldi's here have all raised their prices a TON over the last two years. You could buy lots of stuff for $20 back then, now just buying the basics runs you $50 per person...
Ours is still WAY lower than any other stores in the area. I think food prices (along with everything else) has just risen
• If you have an Aldi's around you, $100 for 2 people could last you a month. Their produce is super cheap and good. Their yogurts are great and their chicken is always on sale. They have a great variety. I can spend a $100 a month and feed our family of 4, easily. But we eat left overs and I love to try to make everything…
• Mmmm.... deer. We just had deer steaks last night. YUM! We just seasoning them really well and pound them out. Fry them in a cast iron skillet to medium. Melt in your mouth. I would have to guess that if you have tried it all those different ways, you just don't like deer. There are many ways to hide it. I've made tacos,…
• BBQ grilled chicken boob (only about 4 oz) and a some yummy baked beans! Those things keep you full! YUM
• Great job!! And I LOVE that tat!! I just got one on my side! Yours is gorgeous!!
• I have yogurt, fruit and granola, or a dippy egg with toast at work. ALWAYS with coffee
• Thank you!! Just helps me feel better that I am doing something right! YEAH
• I had one for a week and it seemed like it had me burning tons of calories but when I worked out it only burnt 20. I sent it back  Good luck with it
• Have you offered it to them? My kids LOVE steamed broccoli, carrots and mushrooms. LOVE IT. I toss it with garlic and some butter and they gobble it up. I agree with the others though, keep offering and maybe something to dip it in. My son LOVES "dip dips" and will eat anything as long as he can do that. Try it, I bet…
• 1/2 Aldi's Fit and Active peach yogurt with blueberries and blackberries and a hand full of granola. YUM
• 3 cats and 2 dogs that want fed and let out, a 2 year old sometimes stirring, a 15 year old needing the stuff out of my bathroom and a work out that is going to allow me to feel comfortable putting on a swimming suit in 32 days
• Me too! A friend of mine did this years ago and I thought it was strange. Nope. No chili in my house without mushrooms! My goodness I love shrooms
• I remember the exact day I realized my mother did that ALL the time and it led to a huge weight gain. She still does that. My 2 year old gets small portions of everything and he asks for me if he wants it. I can't stand wasting food either. One of my biggest issues. But if it comes down to it, I will throw it in the field…
• I guess I hadn't thought of it. I don't make different meals, but my kids eat almost anything I put in front of them. We've always had good meals in terms of "healthy" just sometimes they were bigger than needed. My 2 year old LOVES broccoli and carrots. My 15 year old begs for asparagus. I've not had a meal where no one…
• Ramen noodles (minus the seasoning), canned chili, cheese, onion and fritos.......... It's called Road Kill in my house and it will cure whatever ails you
• I started again today after a 3 week break! I'm hoping to stay with it. I noticed a ton of difference in how I felt and looked. I'm dissappointed that I stopped. But oh well. Back on the wagon! It will be done
• We love pizza too!! And yes..... you can't beat them. I bought 2 one day and we had an entire pizza left over. They are filling and I loved them. But I haven't found a pizza I don't like  There really isn't anything that I don't buy from there anymore. Except they haven't got a low fat mayo yet. But once they do I…
• I love that you can buy 10# of potatoes for $3, sometimes they have them on sale for $1.50. I prefer Aldi's over most stores anymore. Oh and their Fit and Active ice cream sammiches..............YUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMM
