  • what is your caloric goal? have you readjusted since you've lost weight? as you lose weight your goal will lower, however never should drop below 1200. it could be that you're going over more than 100 to 200 calories if you should have dropped. if not, i agree. keep doing what you're doing and it will start coming off…
  • we had a bad round at christmas time and then a week ago. OMG! i wanted to eat everything in the house. the power went out because all we got was ice blah! so i couldn't do any workouts. i need someone telling me to keep going or i won't push myself! lol i feel for ya girl! i will say, if you have celerey and like it, i've…
  • I will repeat others. Consistency is important. If you work out the day before it's no big deal. So what if the scale might read a little less the day after you take a rest. It's not gonna be by much. For me, it's not like I'm super close to my goal and just want to see that number. Over a period of time you should be…
  • my problem is getting all of my calories in. i have a hard time believing my body would ever think it's starving lol. it's got plenty of back up to keep going for years ha! no seriously, i do struggle. like today i've eaten dinner and i'm about to head to the gym. i have 450 cals left, plus more after my workout. i'll end…
  • great perspective! i just saw my first episode last season. i just don't have time to watch it, and my TiVo is already packed :(. But you are so right, these individuals are remarkable. I think we have to really watch and listen to our bodies. I mean, we don't have doctors on the sidelines in case we push too hard. I did…
  • yummy!!!!
  • If you want other chocolate snacks I have a cake recipe that you just use a box cake and a can of diet coke. mix it, bake it according to the directions on the box. then i just put a dab of fat free cool whip on my slice. it's about 180 cals for a serving. which is a 12th of the the rectangle pan!
  • Jell-O and Hunts makes a fat free chocolate pudding, about 90-100 cals each!
  • OMG! I sooooooooooo have this problem. My husband makes fun of me because it appears that I don't have a booty. But I know I'm not ready to go down a size. Part of my problem is I have a big belly. My thighs aren't that big in comparison so when I buy jeans they are typically always a little bigger in the legs than I need.…
  • :noway: OMG! I've had the hair excuse before too!!!!!!!!!!
  • that's what i do, and it's 4 mph however, keep in mind if you're using the weights, you're burning more than if you were just walking. that's the part i can't really log. so i just log the walking.
  • Make sure you're eating enough! Don't give up! Take measurements every two weeks as well. You may see results in those numbers before it actually hits the scales.
  • me too!!!! i love lemon in my water :) sometimes i do lemon-lime. yummy ;)
  • A friend of mine use to teach Weight Watchers, and they allowed 2 cups of decaf cofee to count towards their water, as long as you drink it black with nothing added lol. that's the hard part!
  • WHO DAT!!!!!!!!!!
  • When I workout I am allowed almost 1700 calories. Sometimes I have 300-400 calories left during that day.
  • vegetable pizza! it's so easy... use pita bread and spread low fat cream cheese. then top it off with boccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, and any other veggies you like. i love onions, so i put some on. and mushrooms :) sprinkle the top with low fat parmasan cheese! yumm-o!
  • that actually sounds like it would be pretty accurate. do you have your weight watcher card to plug those numbers back into the chart and determine if you come up with the same 4 points? you can track more than what MFP automatically plugs in on your diary. just go to your settings and change it up. you should be able to…
  • remember when you don't drink enough water, you body could retain the fluids making you gain "water weight". make sure you drinking enough for the activity and heat you're putting yourself in!
  • on my walking video we actually use hand weights to get the arms involved as well. i LOVE it... I'm in love lol
  • I am currently doing Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone. I'm doing the three mile walk at least every other day. It's the only routine I've added to my exercise so far. However, I have a lot of weight to lose, so I'm also counting calories. On the days I walk, I take in about 1500 to 1600 calories. I'm also drinking…
  • Welcome ladies! I've been here about a month and have had some success. Which is a great feeling! It's a slow and steady race following the guidelines, but it will help you reach that most important goal. HEALTH! Good-luck!!!
  • I am not what you're looking for, but I just wanted to say WOW! This is a great idea. I can't even begin to imagine how I would cope with my husband being away for a couple days let alone months and years. Please know that I am very thankful for the sacrifice that both your and your Fiance is making for our country. My…
  • That's fantastic. I've been on for a month now. I've lost about 8 lbs, but have been at a stand still for the last week and a half. I'm not giving up though... still a little discouraging, but i think maybe in time my body will start burning some of this extra stuff away! lol
  • Congrats! That's a great feeling... I need to get myself a tape measure. I only weigh and it can be discouraging :)
  • ya it's not there to be a justification for a cheat day regularly. but if I know the next day has big cals in stores or the day before was heavy, I would think that reducing cals to adjust should be fine. I mean logically I my mind it works. not that I shoud be able to reduce to 500 cals for a week to make up for a week…
