  • Baby powder. I was introduced to a thai version baby powder and they are to die for. Because thailand is super humid when i went there, my bf told me to buy snake brand prickley heat baby powder. After you put it on, it has a nice tingly cooling sensation. Stronger than the gold bond (I actually don't feel anything when I…
  • When you say fat, do you mean like your problem areas? Or do you mean actual body fat percentage? I would ask one of the trainers to do measurements for you so you can compare with now and later down the road. Also I would switch from 1-1.5hrs of cardio to a 20min interval cardio. I hate cardio myself but when my first…
  • Wow that's awesome. I wish something like that would motivate me but it doesn't lol. My bf said he will give me money to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe if I lost all my weight. My dad even said he'd give me $1g to go shopping for new cloths but that was way back in hs (like over 10 years ago) and still nothing. In…
  • I agree, weight train and eat at maintenance calorie. Bodybuilding.com is a great place for resources. Add me if you do get an account! xxaimsxx Amy
  • I'm not restarting but more like continuing where I left off. I gained 75lbs early this year from stress at work and didn't give a crap what I ate...I've been slowly going back to eating clean (low carb, high fat and protein works great for my body). I'm a very all or nothing type of person as well as a perfectionist.…
  • I use both as well but I use fitbit mainly to track my step activity. When I do cardio, I use my Polar and go off of that. I always remove any calorie adjustements based on fitbit on mfp.
  • Any "diet" drink is not good for health. For me, I avoid sugar and starch...that always helps me with my belly problems.
  • Eggs, beef, dark chicken, pork, bacon, avocado, coconut oil. I would stick with meats and carbs stick with veggies and fruits. I wouldn't go overboard on bread and pasta. If he can't get much in, add maybe a protein drink. Make a smoothie with protein powder or something too.
  • How long have you guys been dating before tying the knot? I think porn is porn. Any guy who doesn't watch porn has issues hahaha. It's no different then them going to the strip clubs and paying to get blue balls. Is he still sexting that lady too? I don't like to look through my bf's stuff at all. We've been together for 5…
  • 5'2 SW - 230lbs (22/24 size pants) CW - 198 (17 size pants, L/XL/2XL top depending on the style) In the past at 150lbs I got down to size 11/13 pants for junior and size 8 for women pants (when I had to buy work cloths) and S/M top
  • I'm at work wondering what I'm going to eat tomorrow! i'm on MFP logging food that I will be making or at work looking up recipes...I would say YES I'm obsessed lol. I'm also obsessed with food which is what got me overweight to begin with. My obsession with food now though is a little different and I'm learning to cook.…
  • I have a very horrible "**** it" attitude when I'm self sabotaging myself. For instance I use to be 230, last year finally got down to 149 (took me since 2004 mind you). I have hypothyroidism and always yoyo'd back between 160-190 except until last year. However, I was so stressed w work, my meds weren't working so I…
  • My body does well on a high fat/protein intake. It helps me lose weight and lowers my bf% but not by much as I have not been consistent. I'm working on removing grains since I'm quite sensitive to them and am addicted to them lol. What did you eat when you did the keto diet?
  • I usually start eating clean by removing grains (as I've noticed that I'm sensitive when I consume them) and sugar. My food is usually the same for the whole week so I don't have to think. Breakfast is usually 3 whole eggs, uncured bacon, cheese and whatever veggies I throw in. Snacks range from fruits + protein (usually a…
  • Agreed. When I get rid of grains, I feel a lot better and once I bring it back (depending what and how much) I can get real sick.
  • I read the book as well but haven't done as great of a job. I still eat sugar here and there (like my andes mint)....been doing good on not eating wheat but I may slip once or twice as I've been craving nachos.
  • definitely not a good replacement lo. I tried the miracle rice to make my fried rice and it tasted really good!
  • I eat the miracle noodle brands and have no problem with them. I just got a pack of 10 zitis and I'm excited to make mac and cheese with them.
  • I started my 30DS yesterday! I plan to do bodyweight for the first 30 days and go from there.
  • lol!!! Yes I can see that!
  • Thats great!
  • Yes indeed. Everyone has different tolerances to these food. Some have no problem, so have some problem, while others have lots of problem, lol.
  • And amazing how people reads a post and assumes that that person bases their "entire" nutrition ideology off that "one" source. Give me a break.
  • Agreed, this isn't for those who eat them and dont' have problems but for those who eat more than they should cause they just can't stop or have issues with consuming them. I sound just like you. I can eat some sort of wheat and gain 5lbs but once removed I lose it like that. It's only day 4 of my elimination and just…
  • Yeah like Almond bread. It's definitely a weird texture and almost soggy like. I've elimiated grains/sugar on and off for the last couple years per my thyroid dr as I couldn't lose weight and it has helped me a lot. I knew that I was sensitive to them but I didn't understand why until I read this book. HOWEVER, once I get…
  • Is there a problem with reading? I don't think so!
  • You are definitely lucky!! haha. I just started noticing how sensitive I am and it sucks CAUSE I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE all bread, pasta, pastry, etc. lol. Perhaps I eat too damn much of it.
  • That's great! I'm hoping it would get rid of my lower belly (I have like 2 tummys I guess you can say).
  • That is awesome!
