  • She is doing better now. She still asks about him but is no longer as upset. She said she gets to play with him when she dreams so I think that is keeping her happy right now.
  • Thank yall. She is doing better just ultra paranoid about the rest. They are healthy so I'm not worried about them. I don't know what happened to the one.
  • Sorry one of our kittens died yesterday and I had a very distraught 5 yr old little girl on my hands. I weighed just never got around to posting it. I had a .6 loss this week.

  • I am not sure yet. I am new to strength training. Currently I do just cardio (Zumba and C25K). I know my goals are to lose weight, tone up, and have tons of energy.

  • I wouldn't discount all nutritionist. Due to the lack of regulation there are a lot of quacks out there but there are some good ones as well. If your work is taking care of it then I would try it. Just use your best judgment and try to get feed back from others who has seen this person.
  • There are no health problems that go along with eating that way? That is why I started trying because I have been lectures 9 ways to Sunday from everyone it seems. This has been the hardest part about this whole journey and it seems to be such a small ridiculous matter.
  • I actually do that often. The problem that way is all my calories are then ate in like a 3-4 hour span at night.

  • Insanity is a great workout but I couldn't handle it yet. Zumba is so much fun your likely to forget you are supposed to be working out. I do c25k as well. I plan on adding strength training later.
  • The group is a great cheerleader squad but it's for times like that I think this group is best. So we can cheer each other up when we are disappointed and to motivate one another. Yall have this. Do not give up. We need you. We all are going to have off weeks.

  • Thank you all. I didn't have the experience they wanted. They did need me to get my TWIC card first.   • Today I started and finished my first day of C25K. I feel very accomplished.
  • Ok after I commented earlier I thought "Why not now?" so I got out and did day 1. I feel very accomplished.
  • That is awesome. I downloaded the app like a week ago and have yet to start it. I keep having excuses like the weather is too bad when honestly there has been plenty of long breaks in the rain for me to get started. This post just may be the motivation I need to get started TODAY!!!!
  • Thank you!!! I don't know the science of it all. I do know, however, that the average person isn't going to the extremes of TBL. It was a study of an extreme and it frustrates me to see that they seemed to apply it to the average joe trying to lose weight when they had no one who fit that description in this study.

  • She has her own veggie garden as well and when the kids come over for tea she lets them pick the biggest watermelon out of her garden for them to slice and she lets them pick fresh herbs out of her herb garden to put in their tea.
