Mine is, I love to eat and I hate to exercise...a very bad combination.

Awesome!

Thanks for this post. I can relate. My sister and I were just talking about a similar thing last night. Hang in there and don't give up.

Bumping this because it is totally awesome!

Well your post made me get off my booty and start running, hopping, skipping, and kicking, in my living room. Gotta start some where. So, Thank You!

Own it and be proud! Great job!

Great article. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to know it can be done! Great Job!

Awesome job! Very motivating! I can relate to the cuddles, only I get mine from my cats! (my kids are bigger)

Wow, Awesome job! I know some people think, geez 18lbs that's nothing! But I sure wish I would have taken care of those first 18lbs before they turned to 80lbs! Good for you!

Thanks for sharing! Awesome job, very inspiring.

I don't have it but my husband was just diagnosed with it. I would say for him he had loss of appetite but I think that was because of the fatigue that accompanies low thyroid and a bit of depression due to not knowing what was wrong with him.

I love the floral one. Which one did you pick - or did I miss that?

I've been doing it for the past 10 days (missed 2 workouts though) and already I can tell a difference in the way my shirts fit across my stomach and I've lost 6lbs. I didn't take before pics or measurements, I figure I'll know by the way my clothes fit. I follow up the workout with 20 mins of low impact cardio - one of…

Your comment " Sometimes it's hard to see when I look at my stomach and see that I have a lot more fat to lose. " made me say "OMGOSH! How can she not see the difference?" Awesome job, huge difference!

I started by drinking just a little at a time throughout the whole day. It was much easier for me to drink 4 oz at a time because that's basically just a few swallows instead of staring down a large glass or water bottle. Now I find I I don't mind it and sometimes even prefer it.

I hate it when people think like this. I don't drink Diet Coke for the lack of calories. I drink it because I like the taste of it. I cannot stand regular soda because it is far too sweet for my liking. But yes when I was eating these things, I would eat cake, pizza, cookies, subway sandwiches, quarter pounders with…

I needed this thread! Thanks!

Do other people see the "fat" you see? In your pictures you seem to be quite slim and your comment about starving yourself in the past makes me wonder if you're seeing something that isn't there to begin with.

I just saw on the Drs. yesterday, to lose those last 10lbs, focus on strenght training. Building muscles as a woman will not make you bulk up but will help you burn more calories throughout the day even while resting. Also, go back to how you were eating before (assuming that was healthier), don't add junk food into just…

Hang in there! Resist Resist Resist! :)

I gained weight because I ate too much - nothing to do with my birth control pills. I lost weight when I was on Loestrin FE but changed to Microgestin because I was having break through bleeding with Loestrin FE (haven't had that problem with this pres.). I am still on Microgestin and am losing weight now that I'm eating…

I have always hated water and only drank Diet Coke - I still drink Diet Coke like it's going out of style but I have started fitting in water as well. My trick when I started was to drink small glasses 4 - 6oz throughout the day. I know I can "choke" down a small amount at a time but for me looking at a 24oz glass (or…

I weight daily in the morning to keep myself in check but I only actually record my weight loss once a week, Mondays. I do wonder why you would be "concerned that you're not weighing often enough"? What do you mean by that?
-
Try drinking just a little at a time throughout the day so you don't feel it so much all at once.

Why? Because you posted (below) in response/confirmation to someone else implying that losing their gallbladder was basically catastrophic. But it is not that big of a deal for a lot of people, but the tone of your post above made it seem that was the way for most people. So myself and others are clarifying that it is not…

My mom and sister have both had their gallbladders removed and neither have had these issues.

I have to ask, why is this a goal? What do you hope to gain from it? As a suggestion though, if you'd like to figure out how much your poo weighs, you could always weigh yourself before you poo and then again after it and subtract that amount from your morning weight.

What's the difference between this diet and Atkins? I haven't read the book but reading through here seems very similar.

Are they one of your "friends"? I'd delete them. Support like that is not necessary.
