  • WELL SAID MATT!!!!! Girls, stop being afraid of weights. For goodness sake, they are good for you in so many ways. Shaping muscles, building healthy bones, etc. Go for it ladies! :) (And, as Matt points out...you're not going to get bulky.)
  • Yes and especially protein. Consume Whey Protein within about 10 minutes of finishing a workout to help rebuild the muscle and keep it from breaking down further. Also throw in my BCAA's with it.
  • I use the Polar FT60 and love it. Definitely invest in one. Especially if this is a lifestyle change for you that you indeed to continue. Well worth the money. :) Good luck. (BTW - Polar has a great FaceBook site you should check out. Great info and some very inspirational stories.)
  • Check out "Clean Eating". You can usually find the mags in the grocery store or go to the book store and check out the cook book. It's by Tosca Reno and has awesome, very healthy, recipes, including deserts. Good luck.

  • I also agree wtih Coltsman. Wear your HRM and then you'll have your calorie burn numbers. I use the Polar FT60 and it rocks!!
