Fat Free milk is about 80 calories a glass. I'm not a milk drinker, but I eat cottage cheese daily and take calcium supplements. Leafy greens like broccoli and spinach also have calcium, and go great with cheese, also a good calcium source :)

Can I join this group? I'm a Senior by hours in her third year of college with two more years to go... :P I'm majoring in Linguistics and certifying in Teaching English to Speakers of other languages I'm 5'5" and started at 161 mid August and I'm down to 145.5. My goal is 120.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm hoping to find a tailor to fix some of the dresses and shirts I already have so I can actually wear them. Sassy75, I'm probably going to sound really ignorant, but how do you find a image consultant? It might be a great Christmas or birthday present to myself to actually get some…

Sorry I didn't weigh in last week... my mom was visiting and everything gets chaotic when she's around.... anyway I've only gone down .5 since my last weight in two weeks ago... I'm at 147. :/

I am vegetarian and it was difficult for me to watch, but it is still a very good and interesting movie. I would still suggest watching it.

I "filled out" mostly between 4th grade and high-school- I was really early, and trust me, being the 5'5'' girl with DDs in a ballet class full of 6th grade girls was very embarrassing. However... Most of my friends (who are about 18- 20) are filling out right now. I've gotten multiple phone calls about shirts fitting…

My mom does this to make muffins and they're amazing (she makes them for me during finals week when I'm up late studying and writing papers :) )

I'm also a vegetarian... and I'm usually around 80 grams of protein a day try: Kashi go lean cereal (the original has the most protein, but least flavor. I mix it with half a cup of chocolate soy milk) Cottage Cheese Precision engineered whey Protein Isolate- 30 grams of protein for only 140 calories. I mix the chocolate…

CW: 149.5 down 2.5 pounds since last week :) I've lost 11.5 pounds, so i'm a little over a fourth of the way to my goal :)
-
My computer has not been letting me log in the last few days :'( But, I am very excited to say that I now weigh 149.5, and that my BMI is in the healthy range again :) Goal for next month : remember to actually log my exercise :)

75% of your meals are left overs because every recipe seems to make enough food for four!
-
I'm at 152 today, down 2.3 from last week :) This is the best loss I've had so far so I'm really excited! :) (can you tell from all the smilies? :D ) I'm guessing at least a pound was retained water from the previous week (TOM), but it's still nice to see the scale jump down :)
-
152.3! I lost a lot of water weight once that TOM ended... it was nice to realize I had still been losing even if it wasn't showing. :) I did go over on fiber every day this week so +7 food But I'm really bad about making myself exercise and only did one day +1
-
I usually go over because when TOM actually arrives, I completely lose my apatite. It usually balances out fairly well, as long as I don't pig out too much and eat everything in sight (which can be tempting)
-
Kashi go lean :) High fiber, high protein, very low fat. I love this, and I eat two bowls a day. It does take some time for your body to adjust to increased fiber though so I'd suggest maybe one bowl or half a bowl for a while and see if it helps.
-
My left knee is bad, so why don't we just trade back and forth every other day so I can actually get on a treadmill or dance again? :P :)
-
Stress eating... The combination of a pint of ice cream or batch of cookie dough and an essay or test was (and is) my biggest enemy.
-
I don't eat meat and i get more protein than most of my carnivorous friends: Every day I have at least 1 serving of cottage cheese (10 grams protein) 1 serving of protein powder (30 grams protein) 2 servings of kashi (14 grams protein each) 1 can of Green Beans (7 Grams of protein) 8 oz Soy milk Most days I end up with…

I gained over a pound the last couple of days while visiting my parents. I'm now at 155, up a pound (I think) from my last weigh in here. (I weigh in twice a week). I did manage to avoid looking at the scale for 5 of the seven days though... That's very difficult for me :P
-
Hi! Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I went home to visit my parents and since I wasn't watching what I ate, I didn't really check this website. Getting to know you: My real name is not Trissie, but I use it as my name frequently online, and I'll respond to it just as well as my real name at this point. I just feel weird…

Two and half years vegetarian :) It's the best present I ever gave myself. Feel free to add me- just let me know you found me on this group so I know you're veggie too :)

We're close! I'm 154 right now... so you're a few pounds ahead of me... I just have to catch up! ;) GW 120 Height: 5"5' Age" 20

That sounds amazing! I may have to actually use my kitchen for a change!

I lost 1 pound this week. I was under calories every day. I went to the gym twice, and walked, cleaned, did yoga/crunches/weights in my apartment the other days. I'd really like to be losing 2 pounds a week but it's hard to get to the gym with my class schedule and not feeling safe walking alone at night, so I have to make…

Can I join your group? I am in a couple of challenges, but I would really like a support group to to keep me going even when i'm not as succesful as I want to be.

I completely understand. I love Dr. Pepper WAY too much. Cold turkey has never worked very well for me for quitting much of anything (except going vegetarian for some reason), and after a few attempts of going cold turkey on Dr. Pepper and relapsing, I gave up. I treat Dr. Pepper like a treat- just like at the end of some…

Ok, after two wonderful weeks before joining mfp, this weeks I managed to go from 155.5 to... 154.9. Half a pound does not feel like something to celebrate, when I was losing around 2 pounds a week before. :/ I'm very sorry for not keeping track of my OWLs...
