As other have said, you usually lose more in the beginning, don't worry! If you keep losing at that pace, you can always up your calories in 2 weeks. Congrats on the work done so far!
-
I usually keep a few calories so that I can have a snack in the evening. I hate to go to bed hungry!
-
I bet the regular (baked) version costs less calories per serving! 907 is insane!
-
Great list! Thank you for sharing!

Just checked their website and apparently both the TV channel and the website are closing down! Sad thing. I used some of their work-outs a lot!
-
Then you can probably count them as 3g of milk chocolate. Macros ay not be accurate but you should be on the safe side re calories.
-
3g seems very little. An individual portion of butter is already 10g!

How much does one cup weigh? Should be easy to figure out the calories once you have the weight.
-
Sickos over the internet (and sickos my friend may know IRL) were only part of my concern. I think that 4 yo is a bit old to have her "cute" nude picture posted over the internet.
-
It's way too soon to be gaining muscle so it's probably water retention. If you have been eating more than maintenance on several occasions, some of it may be actual weight gain too.
-
I second the overestimating exercise calories. 800-1000 cals is a lot! How are you measuring your calories burnt? If it isn't through a HRM, I'd suggest only logging 60-70% of what MFP suggests.
-
You can add calories to your daily total by selecting breastfeeding in the food database. There are different options depending on frequency and age. There's no "breastfeeding twins" but there's a "tandem BF (baby and toddler)" that you can use. It adds 800 cals to your daily total, which seems pretty safe.
-
1500 cals. I'm 129 and very close to my goal.
-
That's not necessarily true. I agree some of the acitivities in MFP databases (such as cooking dinner) can hardly pass as exercise. However, I think exercise (especially going to the gym) are an artificial way or re-creating physical activity that we don't find in our everyday life anymore. If there weren't cars, washing…
-
Sounds like exercise to me!
-
Super cute!
-
Colds are caused by viruses, not by "toxins" supposedly released from fat! To the OP, you don't necessarily need to up your cals but make sure to drink a lot and rest. No exercise until you feel better! ;-)
-
Are you heavily restricting between binges?
-
It's probably a remnant from my ED days but meals gives my days structure. I find the regularity comforting.
-
Have your treat everyday! It's not going to hinder your weight loss if stay within your calorie range.
-
Amazing job!

I spoke to a mutual friend about this and she agreed with me. We both sent her a pm and she removed the culprit. :)
-
I don't like to make a fuss either so I usually "only" request the dressing on the side when ordering a salad. But salads aren't always the healthier option. I usually look for steamed fished or grilled meat and ask for veggies instead of fries.
-
Agree. People should only cosleep if they follow the recommendations to a T. But what do you expect? People aren't even following recommendations when their baby is sleeping in their crib: toys/blanket/pillow in the crib, baby sleeping on their tummy, T° too high...

^^^Great info! Thank you mbales!

This "no white food" fad has to go. Seriously.
-
But... To know it's not delicious, you have to taste it, right? ;-) I wish I could be a food snob but I can't fool anyone, I love junk food!
-
I quit 12 days ago! The first day were pretty hard and I definitely saw an increase in appetite. I'm eating a bit more but still below maintenance so I should be ok! I relied a lot on sugar free gums and coffee. I had a cup of (decaf) coffee everytime I needed a cigarette! Can't guarantee I won't gain ANY weight but I hope…

Clafouti is pretty low calories. I've tried this one and it's pretty good: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/plum-clafouti/detail.aspx 186 cals per serving but you can probably save more by using skim milk and subbing some of the sugar for sweetener (not all of it, though). You can use any kind of fruit.
