I am a recovered bulimic. Only after 10 years being mostly b/p free, I feel confident enough to be on a website like mfp. EDs are often about control and calories-counting site can give you a false sense of control. Until one day, you feel like you are too much and fall back into the habits... Be cautious, remember what…
-
What does Mfp tell you?

There's always the woods if you're really committed to it.

Yup vinegar or lemon. Forces your stomach to produce more mucus and helps with acidity.
-
Agreed. Take her out, do something fun!

Thanks everyone! (I put the shell in the compost bin, so I eventually eat part of it I guess...)
-
Weigh either the unpopped kernels or the air popped and go by the usda entry.

Work treats and sugary greasy things into your everyday diet. That way you won't be so prone to binge. Also make sure you eat enough.
-
Many here seem to consider granola bars as healthy. Granted, they're a bit better than a snickers or a mars but they're still loaded with sugar and processed carbs...
-
How "clean" are you eating? Are you depriving yourself of food you love? If so, you're setting up yourself for a binge. In the end, only the amount of calories count towards weight loss. If you're committed to eating healthier, a 80% healthy/unprocessed/clean and 20% treats/processed gives a good balance....

Yeah and they're pretty high in calories too. Better stay away.

Thanks!

People saying random foods like avocado or air-popped popcorn are bad and should be avoided at all costs. Meanwhile, they also say yogurt is good for you even if a full fat fruit yogurt is just a few calories less than half a small avocado (or a LOT of pop corn). When I confront them with numbers, they just shrug and say…

Where do I find the rolling 7 days thing? Sorry, being stupid here...

Olive oil, balsamic vinegar and agave syrup + salt and pepper. 1tsp of oil and agave is enough for a big salad for two and not very high on calories.
-
She can weigh it cooked if she logs it as cooked rice. I don't see the problem here...
-
There's an entry in the db for cooked rice :)

 Like when we have bananas for dessert at school. "Whatever you do, DO NOT make eye contact with coworkers"
-
If your husband is at home earlier than you, maybe he could make dinner so you workout when you get there?
-
Eat a banana while looking right into his eyes. ;-)
-
Same problem here. Just stopped working today, though...

You don't have to go to the gym everyday. Go every other day and spend the evening home with your kids. If you want you can even sneak a 30-min workout after bedtime.

Ooch! Yay for chauvinism!

Lanugo? Are you eating enough? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanugo

Do you really need to lose those pounds? Because sometimes people (me included) set their hearts on a certain number on the scale while they don't need to go there...
-
Unfortunately, it's not only on Youtube. A friend of mine went to see a dietetician and she told her not to eat after 7 pm. She also told her it was no use using a regular scale because she was doing zumba and that she probably was putting on muscle. Wait, whaaaaaaat?
-
Hi Laura! I am also looking for friends so adding you :)
-
Feel free to add me! (and anyone on this thread... I don't have enough friends atm!)
