Seems like a good program to me, except for a few diet myths (breakfast is super-duper important etc...). I wouldn't choose the 1000 or the 1200 cals programs though, too restrictive!

Who's telling you anorexics are NOT in starvation mode? A lot of them are eating very few calories (or even fasting) and yet complain about plateaus and lingering weight loss. Of course, in the end, their bodies stop to fight and begins digesting their own organs but sometimes it takes years!

I've never watched my sugar and it didn't get in the way of my weight loss. As long as you don't rely solely on fruit AND remain close to your calories goal, I don't see a problem with 4 servings a day!

Exercise and workouts are basically just ways to recreate physical activities we don't get in our daily lives anymore. Believe me, if you spent the whole day mowing lawns or taking bins out, you wouldn't need to spend time at the gym!

Read the excellent: "How to talk so kids will listen and how to listen so kids will take" By Faber & Mazlich. Full of great ideas for non-violent (including verbal violence) parenting. I am a yeller too but I'm working on it! :)

TDEE is estimated between 1900 and 2100 cals depending on source. I eat around 1700 cals on workout days and 1500 on rest days. I guess i could eat a little bit more if things don't get better!

I don't work at the moment so I don't wake wake up earlier than usual. I drop the kiddo at daycare and head for the gym. I'm a bit more physically active than before (my newfound freedom is filled with cleaning up/throwing away old stuff) but not by much. I used to work out 6 days a week but I feel it wouldn't be resonable…
