You started out cute and you're still cute! Great work and keep at it. Just think how much more awesome you will feel when you reach your goal! :D

I like all these except I cannot run 15k ever (did you mean running?) I have no small children to incorporate into my day. I cannot give up my red wine and beer -- pick something else. LOL

I like this one too!

I like it. Although the author may be a tiny bit biased since she lives there. LOL :D

Ooh. I like that advice!

Yes and quite a bit more. I was pleasantly surprised by the social aspect of the site. Great!!

I think I see what you're saying. I would just say, each person's results more or less speak for themselves. Sometimes I look at a friends' food diary and think, "Ack! I would weigh 300 pounds if I ate like that." But then I see that they've lost like 60 plus pounds, so I figure I'll let them do their thing and I'll do…

That IS fun! No more back boobs. :) Congrats! You're looking fine.

I don't have a lot of scientific knowledge about this, but if I understand, the GENERAL way of things is that our bodies consume a certain amount of calories just breathing for 24 hours (and all the other stuff they do that we can't see). So, the idea is that we need to consume that many calories in a 24 hour period to…

I'm low carb and getting into the fried cheese bits. crispy and delicious.

idk how it works, but i've averaged about 8 pounds a month over the last three or four months. however, at this time, I'm building muscle and losing fat (inches keep going down, but weight doesn't move much). I just take one meal at a time, literally. I'm currently using Jorge Cruise's Belly Fat Cure. I'm not hungry hardly…

Several years ago I lost 25% of my body weight from an illness in a very abbreviated time period. I was down to about as low as I could go without starting to be really too thin. I noticed that my fingers were always freezing and several other problems even though we lived in the very warm southwest at the time. I learned…

My main goal is physical fitness -- to become leaner, stronger, and healthier for life. Had a bad car wreck a year ago that changed my whole perspective on exercise. I now consider it more of a privilege than anything. I am 41, have one kid still in high school. Currently, I'm right at 197, but my peak weight was around…

I don't work outside the home, but I'm the only one dieting in my family, and I get offered things regularly that aren't on my plan. I just smile and say, "No, thank you." The less dramatic, the better, in my opinion. They are probably trying to be friendly and inclusive. :) Good luck!

try capsicum capsules from the health food store and eat zucchini and shellfish (if you aren't allergic) for iodine which produces thyroid hormone in the body. I used these remedies years ago when I was experiencing Raynaud's (sp?) syndrome. Good luck!

I think most any cleanses you can buy in health food stores (just ask an associate for help) will be helpful. I think you should do one at least once a year, and don't totally junk your diet back up afterward. Good luck! :)

I'm hanging in there with my Lindt 85% and 90% cocoa dark chocolate bars and hot coffee with half and half. It's awesome to have a little treat now and then!

LOL. Great story! Keep up the great work! :)

Thanks for sharing! I am losing 10 pounds per month so far, and I started just about where you did, so I'm super encouraged to see your progress! :)

Obviously, check with your doctor first, but I found the recumbent stationary bike to be a great place to start for impact free cardio exercise. Good Luck!

Make sure you're getting plenty of water as it assists with digestion. Also, you might consider digestive enzymes or probiotics (even yogurt would be a good step). As for the carbs, just don't eat 'em. :) Also, you might want to space your meals out a little more and have five or six 200-300 calorie meals throughout the…

I recommend you check out Jorge Cruise's Belly Fat Cure book. You have a lot of sugars in your diet and I think that may be sabotaging your efforts. For me, if I ate that much sugar, I'd gain back my 30 pounds lost in a few weeks. Good luck! :)
