Yes. Mine is cracking...just noticed today. Very unhappy about it. I don't do anything extreme.

God bless you. You can do this! One meal at a time.

I would say switch to less starch/carbs and more protein in general. Also, consider a cleanse or some psyllium fiber and acidophilus capsules to help clean up your insides a bit more. I think better digestion always helps. Good luck!

To me, quinoa is sort of like a "crunchy" rice or tapioca, but it is not starchy. I've had it in a few dishes and enjoyed it. I recommend finding a Whole Foods or Wild Oats or similar place that serves it in their deli. They will likely have some kinds for you to try and also maybe a couple of good recipes. Unlike rice, I…

Mr. Mom. Never get tired of it!

I would focus on protein and ease up on carbs (assuming that you aren't already doing that). Otherwise, my mantra is One meal at a time, One workout at a time, One pound at a time. Best of luck!

Me the same. I hit it hard at the gym! :)

I started exactly what you are doing per doctor's instructions, and for one month I ate 1600 calories per day. That was fine. I lost 9 pounds then froze there for a week and I was starving! I changed to low carb and it's made all the difference in the world. So far, down a total of 32 pounds and it just slips off week…

So sorry Dear. It sounds like you made her childhood and teenage years a blessing. God bless.

I usually put on foundation and a little powder so I don't look totally weird. :)

I swear by light string cheese.

I've had some great deep cleanses, but to be honest, I like the slow approach better -- psyllium husks daily with acidophilus capsules.

I want to look HOT!

I used to live in Plano! Had my third kid in Garland. You can do this!! :)

I set my first goal at 150, but I'm hoping to see 135 again. Slow going, but when you are losing weight slowly with lifestyle changes, then there is no "maintenance"; you just keep going and things will work out. Good luck to everyone! :)

An old beat up Dodge Grand Caravan. LOVE it! Has everything. Runs like a champ after two wrecks, teenager smooshing the door, and over 200,000 miles! PLUS, I only paid 2300 bucks for it

I'm on Jorge Cruise Belly Fat Cure. I average between 1200 and 1400 ACTUAL calories eaten, and can honestly say I am rarely hungry. Got it at the library. Highly recommended!

Life will not change in one week. Losing weight and changing the composition of your body takes TIME. It's no fun waiting, but in the long run, what else are you going to do? Just throw in the towel and be unhappy with your body for the rest of your life? I agree with the above poster. I stopped getting on the scale and…

Well, aside from seeing a doc and making sure you didn't tear something, I would recommend letting your body tell you when you're ready to put stress on it. I broke my tib last year and was in a wheel chair for five months -- totally non weight bearing. Got physical therapy and once I was able to bear weight on it, I…

I am on Jorge Cruise BFC. He recommends using Half and Half and Stevia. I don't like stevia much, so I use Sweet n Low (off brands). The count on MFP is 0 carbs. I think snl has a little less than one gram carb each. Also, I use sugar free flavored syrups from time to time (but i best like coffee to taste like coffee).…

I broke my tibia last year and they did surgery twice. I had great results with the stationary bike and now use the elliptical (almost no stress on the knee at all for me) and stair climber (a little more stress on the knee but lots of good gluteal burn) and lots of weights for upper body as well. I think a little at a…

Turned 35 and stopped worrying about carbs. 90 pounds later, here I am! (I've lost some tho)

I began with a goal of 90. Does that count? I have about 60 left to go. :) Good luck!

Re smoke alarms, not to discount the cause, but when one goes off, they are all supposed to respond by going off too -- some kind of sound activated trigger in them. :)

I have had a number of experiences with spirits. I believe they are demonic in nature and come from a very bad place. I have used The Bondage Breaker to get rid of them. Worth it! :)

Feel free to add me. I am losing about 1.5 pounds a week. Slow but sure progress. Started out in 20's that were tight, and now I'm in 14's that are loose! I didn't think I could lose weight after 40, but one day at a time, I'm doing it. Hang in there! You can do this.

As in all things, I think we must be our own guides and use our own judgement. I don't let anyone tell me what I need to do any more. That is a losing battle as they are not the ones who have to live with the results of my behavior. Congrats and keep rolling until YOU'RE ready to stop. :)
