Anyone out there cleansing?

I've heard a lot about using a cleanse. Has anyone tried it and did it help?

I disagree with mdelcott...some cleanses are good. The fad ones are bunk, but there are some good sources. I am currently taking supplements that include a fiber supplement to cleanse my colon, one for the lymphatic system, one to remove heavy metals, and one to remove any parasites (I eat lots of fish). When done correctly and if you drink lots of water, they are very efficient at cleaning out the body of harmful toxins and cleansing your immune system.

    I use VIM. It's a fantastic cleanser.

Take a bottle of ex-lax and cancel your plans for the day. Super great cleanse.

My 'cleanse' isn't a supplement you can take... try eating clean for a couple weeks instead- reduce (eliminate?) sugar and processed carbs, increase fiber, veggies & lean protein.

I've had some great deep cleanses, but to be honest, I like the slow approach better -- psyllium husks daily with acidophilus capsules.
