I say GOOD FOR YOU!! The only way to improve is to try, and you out there running is more effort than most people would bother to criticize are doing. I am a runner (when not injured .. ankle injuries lately) and no matter who I see running, I wish I was them!! Keep on trucking!!

Pills are not going to help you lose fat. I think your best best is to strength train. MUSCLE BURNS FAT!!! On here you search for egg whites boiled and find the large eggs (thats what I use, and its 17 calories for one egg white)....

I mostly agree with the general consenus here about eating the calories back and the OP did a wonderful job of explaining why... but your diet should have a deficit to start and then you exercise on top of it. I think your percentage just has to be higher than the others on the team, so like if you lose 2% and the rest of the other team x 5 (or how many people they have with their weights added together) their total lost has to be less than your total loss for one person. make sense?
