I do the same! That's working really nicely for me. Welcome Nicole! you can do this, just take it one day at a time :)

Welcome! You've come to the right place, this is an amazing site full of amazing, encouraging supporting people :) And I wanna say I really agree with this: Good luck and enjoy the journey!

welcome! you've come to the right place. I really like that you already love yourself... sometimes it takes a while to learn that :) good luck and enjoy the journey! Dani

AMAZING JOB!! You're an inspiration. Kudos to you! Keep it up and be PROUD of yourself :flowerforyou:

I say you get a hearty salad for dinner: lots of leafy greens, one protein (I like cottage cheese, but you can have pulses or meat), one healthy fat (avocadoes, nuts, olives, olive oil - all of them are good options) and one carb (corn, rice, or maybe a whole grain toast on the side?) and some other veggies like cucumbers,…

great job! many baby steps put together can take you a long way... keep that in mind :flowerforyou:

Hi Stephanie, welcome! I'm afraid I don't have a good inspirational story, but I wanted to say hi :) Good luck and enjoy the journey! :flowerforyou:

I like to make my own trailmix, that allows me to choose the nuts/cereal/dried fruits I use, and thus I can check how much added sugar (if any) they have. Low fat dairy is another great option. Basically, make your meals from scratch instead of buying processed food (yay for fresh produce!)

wow, I could feel my heart beating faster when it described the whole weigh-in scene! thanks for sharing

Terrific NSV, indeed!! And your pictures are amazing, congrats :)

Awesome transformation!! Kudos to you!!

I think that you might be eating fewer calories than you should. Going under 1200 cals is NEVER a good idea. Usually MFP has good calorie goals, based on each person's age, height, weight, goals, etc. I'd try to stick as much as possible to that calorie goal. Don't try to rush things up, go one step at a time and you'll…

good job!! :D

Welcome, It's hard to stop quitting, but it's worth the try and the effort. The good thing about this site is that you have people paying attention to what you do; I find that really helpful (it's like you don't wanna let "them" down, so you don't let yourself down either). And even if you quit for some time, try your…

Welcome! Let's see... I'd say: *log in everything, everyday. It's annoying sometimes, but totally worth it *get a support team - the more fitness pals, the better. Share your good and bad days with them, and be there for them too. *explore the whole website and learn what works better for you (for instance, I don't use the…

couldn't agree more. Thanks for posting this

Welcome and congrats on your weight loss (and you NSV resisting those yummy breakfast items)! Feel free to add me as a friend. Support teams are never too large :)

Welcome! feel free to add me and tell me something about you!

If you didn't kick her a*s when she said that, it's because you have huge kind soul... focus on just shrinking your body... your soul is fine already

I agree with this. And I loved the disclaimer!

My shopping list begins with LOTS of fruits and veggies (more than my fridge can fit - no kidding). I love low fat string cheese, and I also eat 2% cottage cheese and nonfat greek yogurt. Old fashioned oats are a great breakfast (sometimes I add roasted sunflower seeds with no salt added). Also whole wheat, multigrain…

Most of them are useful, but I don't agree with the boring diet, and I certainly can't weight myself every day and stay sane! Thanks for sharing :)

If we don't make it friendly, we're quite screwed XD

I agree 100% :)

Welcome Sharelle! You've come to the right place. This website and all the awesome people here are helping me stay on track, even in those days when I feel really lazy to log my food or things like that. Something that might help you is allow your friends to see your diary, so that they can keep an eye on you as well. Feel…

Welcome! It takes time and effort, but it's totally worth it. Feel free to add me as a friend. Good luck and enjoy the journey!

It sounds like you're being too hard on yourself. Maybe you're not eating enough? And maybe you're working out too much. What about having 2 days off instead of only one? or you could even do 2 intense days, one day off, one day of only cardio (like a gentle walk/jog or the elliptical), then other 2 days and another day…
