12 pounds in 40 days is a healthy amount. When I first started, I was doing about 2lbs/week. I've been at this since February and I'm down 27lbs. Diet pills are not a solution for permanent weight loss. What happens when you stop taking them...? The weight comes back. Do it the healthy way. Sounds like you're right on…

I've tried these noodles a variety of ways (different sauces, different cooking methods) I just cannot for the life of me enjoy them at all. I feel like I'm eating worms every time I try them. I find spaghetti squash a much better alternative.

Well, assuming that this question is completely serious, the fact the the second ingredient is SUGAR should tell you something. And the one before that is RICE (more than likely WHITE rice). Fruity pebbles=crap food. If you must eat cereal, go with natural kinds. Granola, whole grains........... Not fruity pebbles. Ever.

Those exercises you're doing will help to burn fat, but not only in your legs. Your body burns fat where ever it wants to, you can't target it. Me, for example, I had the most fat in my stomach, and that's the last place I'm seeing it leave from. I'm assuming you carried most of your weight in your thighs, that's why…

Yes- the same exact thing happened to me with blueberries

^truth. I love the strawberry ones, they're somewhat hard to find now, I can only find lemon most places. Optimum Nutrition's aren't bad either- no fishy burps

Also wondering how the NEGATIVE 8 calories happen when you drink a cup of water....?

^I made this last week for the first time. FAVORITE RECIPE EVERRRRR

Same with the pumpkin white chocolate. I wanted to try that SO bad, but I looked up the info first... NO THANKS. They add a ridiculous amount of sugar, cream, etc. when they brew it in-store. They could manage to make a cup of straight black coffee to have 200 calories somehow....

There are ways to work it in if you're smart about it.

Using fat free cream cheese (and fat free plain greek yogurt)- I make jalapeno poppers, buffalo chicken dip and buffalo chicken won tons. Actually making the poppers and won tons for the Steeler game tonight :drinker:

Personally, I don't really pay attention to the projected weight loss that MFP gives me when I complete my diary everyday. I've had steady, healthy weight loss since February, but I've never been at the projected weight. As for the weight loss stalling, you could try switching up your activities at the gym. When I don't…

Chalk it up to a fun night with the hubs and get back on track today. I had a little too much to drink on Saturday myself- which ended up with a late night trip to taco bell. Wasn't the greatest idea, but I resumed my normal eating habits yesterday and the world is now complete again. No need to beat yourself up. As long…

Coffee + protein sounds amazing. I have mocha cappuccino ON whey- that'd probably work awesome in coffee.... Question though- does it mix if you just put it in the coffee and stir it? Or do you need a blender or something of the sort?

^ I think that applies to every job on earth. Mine at least...

I'm a graphic artist. I get to design packaging, signage, ads, websites, etc. for clients like Home Depot and Lowes. Fun stuff- I get to be creative on a daily basis. If you like the arts, it's an interesting field to get into. I went to college for Fine Arts with focus in digital design and art history (got to travel to…

Damn. If my step parent said that to me, odds are no one would want anything to do with me after I told them how I really felt.

"Wow- you aren't fat anymore..." [From a less than classy girl that I see randomly at bars sometimes- she's obsessed with my boyfriend who I've been with for 6 years- ya, one of those...] "If you'd cut your hair short it'd probably make you face look thinner" - [from my mom before I lost weight] "If you'd grow your hair…

Don't feel like reading through 17 pages to see if this was already posted, but here's my favorite- Buffalo Chicken WonTons: Canned white chicken (1 can) Fat free cream cheese frank's red hot Mix everything together and plop a spoonful in the middle of the wrapper. Wet the edges and fold in half to form a little triangle…

Don't know how to spell the crazy name, but I have a blood vessel disorder in my brain where they contract and expand at the wrong times...Used to be on Propranolol, but it made me feel pretty weird so I stopped. Tried Imitrex- that amplified the migraines by 10000. So I haven't had much success with medications. Migraines…

I was hoping to see you come back at that b!tch with something of the sorts^

I use Dreamfield's pasta when I'm using a creamy sauce. Spaghetti squash works also if you don't mind the slight crunch

Man... I wish that happened to me. They're BOTH flat now.... :grumble:

^^^Not to mention this option is also FREE.... Not discounting all of the programs recommended, but I've gotten awesome results, and all I pay for is my gym membership.

^^And it sounds like that by plopping our as$es on a bar stool for 4 hours doing shots burns more calories than not doing the like. Drink up yinz b!tches! :drinker:

My cubicle neighbor eats chips and carrots EVERY DAY (counter-productive, yes). So not only do I get to enjoy him CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH (with mouth OPEN) on his carrots, I get to hear that effing potato chip bag wrinkle and crinkle around for a solid hour around 2pm. AHHHHHHHHHH :explode:

As a former body pumper- if you're looking for muscle gains, body pump isn't the answer. It's more cardio based than strength training. Light weight for large amounts of reps will not build muscle, it builds endurance and burns calories. My advice is go to bodybuilding.com - there are tons of workouts you can print and…
