  • You know what is worst? You are suppose to subtract atleast 1 cal per minute of exercise from the number you get. That will be your real exercise calories burned. On top of that you add what MFP gives for BMR on the activity level you have other than exercising.
  • The machine numbers are always overestimated.Sometimes by 50%.Well atleast now you know the real numbers.
  • I want to join too. Thanks!
  • Recalculate your carb, protein and fats on a calculator. Carbs and protein are 4 calories per gram and Fats is 9 calories per gram. For example: If you have eaten 100 grams of carbs it will be 400 calories 100 grams of fats = 900 calories 100 grams of protein = 400 calories Total 300 grams of nutrients 1700 calories. Sorry…
  • DId you follow the manual guide? Wear your bodybugg on your arm and press mode and when it asks you to press the bodybugg button and they should synch. Otherwise press all 4 bottons on the display at the same time until it beeps and a weird number comes up. Press Mode now and it will ask you to press the bodybugg button.…
  • MFP calories for sedentary is accurate. For me it said 1700 total. On bodybugg on days when I don't do much other than cooking, washing dishes and personal care I hit 1800 so the sedentary numbers are spot on. It means you would burn that number if you were lying on couch or sleeping on bed all day and night. It only…
  • Sad that you have a condition that prevents weight loss at regular intake. There are also people who can eat whatever and never gain weight. It's nice that you could get your bodybugg refunded. At least now you know for sure that you are different and the same rules don't apply for you as they do for most people. I wish…
  • You can find them on ebay at all prices but I paid about 220 dollars for mine with the digital display. I think the bodybugg and the display is for sale for 150 dollars for three days at their official website http://my.apexfitness.com/index.php . You get 6 months subscription included with the purchase. After that…
  • I just looked for Bodymedia Fit digital display. I couldn't find any either. I am not sure if they have a digital display or not but the digital display does a lot to keep motivation up with minute to minute update as you burn calories in the course of the day. The Bodymedia Fit has the sleep monitoring function but the…
  • I agree with this one and eat only 50-70% of the exercise calories because those numbers are not accurate. Also try to eat atleast 1200 cals a day unless you want to regain or stay ob low calories diet forever.
  • Wow good job and very well done on dedication.
  • Lol sometimes I feel like I should stay at this weight I am on right now just so that I can continue burning and eating the amount of calories I do. The only wise thing to do is to lift weights.
  • Wow I can't believe your doctor wants you to go down to 125.That is in pounds? I consider that too skinny but then I wouldn't mind going down to 125 myself hehe. Good luck with your journey. I am here with you.
  • Wow very nice. You look like a fitness model.Eating a lot is not a problem here too but I should really get into lifting weights.
  • Hehe I haven't done weights yet. These were the muscles underneath my fats. I used to do weights before and had some muscles. Luckily they stayed even though I stopped going to the gym. I have a physically hard job so that helps me keep and grow muscles. But I do plan to buy some weights soon. The exercises I did were 30…
  • Sometimes we are our worst critics, so even if there is a 35 lbs difference we don't see it. That's why seeing the difference in pictures helps the self esteem. Maybe you should compare in pictures too and then you will be proud of your 35 lbs difference.
  • Thanks for all the nice encouragements everyone. I am so glad that I took control and headed the correct direction to reach here than going on one the wrong way. I am glad I started 95 days ago. My motivation was when I came to this site and saw other people's success stories and saw how much difference weight loss does to…

  • I love clothes.I used to have trouble finding exactly what I wanted in correct size even if I had money to spend on clothes. Now I have learned to sew and I am good at it so I sew what I want.I do think that I spend lots of money on raw materials but atleast I get what I want.
  • I mostly have day shifts.A night shift can come up once in a while in rare cases.I fortunately don't get hungry at night so I don' t eat any food at night.I eat what I need before and after the shift.I have had to work 24 hrs one day because of a hurricane and didn't even have any more food packed with me.That went fine. My…
  • Hi Pinkita, Here is what I do to log in food consumed on bodybugg. In the end of the day when I have already consumed all my food and logged in MFP I go to the bodybugg program and click on Calories Consumed tab. When the small window pops us I click on the Enter Nutrition Facts tab on the bottom right and custom create…
  • Nice. Good luck with it. Let me know if you have any questions or trouble with the bodybugg after you get it. I think by now I have it nicely figured out. The bodybugg is a very good motivator to make people burn more calories.
  • Here is a three weeks update. The first week I lost 2.6 pounds- next week gained 2 pounds and third week lost 1.4 pounds. Body weight fluctuate for many reasons. Here is a summery of my last 3 weeks. The first one is based on how many calories I recorded that I consumed and the second one is based on how many calories the…
  • After using the bodybugg I know HRMs sometimes overestimate. Also one has to subtract atleast 60 cals per hour of exercise from the HRM reading.
  • I think that if you are eating 2000 calories a day then its good even if you are burning off 800. I am also trying to stay on 2000 a day. It is a bit difficult because eating more food is leading to wanting to eat even more food. It's just been a few days since I tried and I haven't done well yet. But still I am insisting…
  • I was on Yaz too.I think it's low hormone. My doctor didn't seem to mind my weight gain and didn't do much about it.
