  • To get a little toned. I would say realistic changes will happen in 6 weeks.
  • I think when you put your age, weight, and life style (seditary or more) it all figures into it. One of the non-seditary examples is a nurse...they tend to walk around more. Or...construction worker...they move more and do heavy lifting. I have a desk job. My calculation should just be a picture of my bu tt getting bigger!…
  • I'm up and down. I normally stick to my calorie intake, but the others are up and down depending on the day and activities I do.
  • BMR is just the rest rate ...if you were to LAY around all day and do nothing. You don't add activities into that number. It's a BASE number to live and maintain. I personally do not add things like...walking my laundry to the machine and putting them in. OR...taking out the trash. I only add a gym work out or sports I…
  • I don't like mayo, so my BF make me tuna salad on the dry side. Lots of mustard, chili sauce, horse radish, pickles and then depending on my calorie intake for the day I eat it on celery or wheat thins. It's spicy and good.

  • I suggest as a post above me did. Open it, take a few sips and then put it in the frig. If they think it's USED maybe they will be less inclined to take it.
  • My death on a plate is still the same. I didn't used to eat my death plate that often and still keep it that way, so I still eat it when I want. My worst even now though...chips and salsa at any Mexica food place. I can eat a whole basket!!! :blushing:
  • Please deposit $5 into the CHELLEKK account for my help.
  • Ya...it was kinda odd for them to pull out the noodle stewy food can and it looked like mini cups of chefboyardee. sp? Might as well go buy some healthy choice stews and eat half a can. OR...a whole can for 220 cal! Eat with a salad/veggies and you're still way under for a meal. I think they hook you in by preparing all…
  • Ate there last night... Foot long Turkey on Wheat. All veggies - minus tomatoes Honey Mustard No mayo or cheese and no chips or soda I ate 6 inch and then squeezed all the fixings on the other 6 inch into half of it and got rid of the bread. I was SOOOO HUNGRY last night.
  • No, but I've had a few friends try it. They didn't like a lot of the food and what I noticed...it's all about portion control. Tiny muffins, tiny stews, tiny soups, ect. And then you add in all the fresh fruits and veggies. Seems like it costs a lot of money for little food you have to add to. My take: Go buy a bunch of…
  • It also depends on what kind of sugar. ...I think that's why they ask you to fast the night before, so it gives ample time to break it down. ...eat like you normally would, fast, go get checked. No need to change things now. Oh...but my BF checks his sugar levels 2 hours after he eats meals, so my guess is the…
  • Water weight and weigh yourself once a week.
  • Veggies. Eat lots and lots of veggies.
  • I poke holes in it, place it on a paper towel in the microwave and cook it. I peel and eat it like it is. Nothing added. Mmmm...
  • At this time I will have to tell you to let the diet go and just enjoy where you are. Obviously don't over-do it, but hello...JAMAICA!!!!! What I would give for some sunny warm weather. It snowed in Seattle yesterday. ...again. Can't complain, but ya know...ready for 80 degrees!!
  • Honey Maid - Grahams - Cinnamon Low Fat
  • You can get it in all sorts of flavors. Garlic, jalpeno, and more. I love it on celery, cause I tend to over do the crackers if I eat it with them.
  • I noticed someone at my gym doing the exercises from that book. We talked about it. She said it was easy to follow and actually liked the meal plan, but didn't stick to it 100%. She was on the routine for the second time...had lost 20 lbs for her wedding which was about a month away at the time. The work out looked…
  • I need a bedgasm soon!!!
  • I'm not a regular watcher of the show. If I catch a few minutes, then I do, but I don't seek out the program. But... What I have learned from the show is it's easy to lose weight when you have a trainer and people picking out foods and a meal plan for you and have NO distractions from life (work, kids, family, ect.). When…
  • It's funny. You read something different about what to do and when all the time. It's always changing. I figure if you're doing it. YAY! Keep it up and do what feels right for your workout routine. OH...and think about it this way...Changing up your routine is a good thing, so maybe go back and forth between making cardio…
  • Just stick with the plan. In time...the lbs will come off! :flowerforyou:
  • V8 and a string cheese
  • There is actually a DRY package of the sauce in the spice section (by the gravy packages) and you just add milk and butter. I skip the butter though. I think the brand I've tried was KNORR? Something like that. It's in a green package. Pretty good stuff.
  • Tie the idea/gift to your 5k. Maybe put something in the car the night before so when you get in...it's a surprise. A card, a hand made sign, new shoes, something to show him you are proud of him for doing that with you.
  • When I used to live in OR, I had a tough time jogging in the cold. It wasn't the layering...it was breathing. The air was so cold in my lungs, they would start to hurt. I lasted about 5 minutes before having to walk.
  • Happy Birthday! If you are really worried about the total. Guess-timate and write it down on a post it. At least you can TRY to come close when you log it all in.
  • Make sure you wet down the "thingys" on the chest strap. And...make sure the watch is within range of it. I noticed with mine...it can not sit on the counter next to my bike and pick up my heart rate, but if it's in my pocket...it will. Almost the same distance.
  •   It's normal. :noway: :grumble: :flowerforyou:
