New vegan right here! Still in the learning process but loving it!

Been vegetarian for over 5 months now and love it. Not very long, but everyone has to start somewhere, right? Right now I'm transitioning into veganism and not regretting it!

I personally like eating it cold, but you can heat it back up in the morning if you want :)

mmm peanut butter and pickle sandwich, guess I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow now haha. But I used to eat salad with just cheese on it, dipped fries into mayo, and sometimes ate straight up sugar mixed with butter (makes me want to throw up now just thinking how bad I used to eat)

I'll do it, even though I hate burpees

FANTASTIC job!!!

Gravitational pull is not going to have any significant change by just being 20 ft higher. It's especially not going to make a 10 lb difference if you're still on the ground. Maybe you should try investing in a new scale, or just dump it all together. My parents recently bought a fitbit scale and that one seems to be…

Thanks for the support/thoughts guys. Since the summer i've def been eating more than 1200 a day and usually aim for 1600-1800 now. I could've really messed things up when I did Insanity for 2 months and still only ate 1200, and now I realize that i was pretty much starving myself back then. I have been on birth control…

Mine is open, feel free to add me :)

I eat oatmeal every morning and love it :) If you microwave a banana it makes it pretty sweet and tastes really good mixed in the oatmeal. Also for your need for a "sugar fix", remember that the more sugar that you eat, the more you crave it. If you try to eat less sugar, especially refined sugar, you should stop feeling…

Perhaps you are trying to do too much all at once, it's not easy to go cold turkey. When making a lifestyle change, you need to make it gradual so it becomes habit. eventually you'll start craving fruits and veggies rather than processed foods. Also make sure you are eating enough healthy food and not exercising too much.…

I find it really helpful to do some yoga or stretching right before I go to bed. It will help to keep your muscles from becoming stiff from lying still for so long and I usually feel less sore in the morning

I'm pretty sure you just have to live with it. You can't exactly control where your body burns fat. I've already gone down about two bra sizes and I'd rather just be healthy than have big boobs, even if it does kinda suck. If you're really upset about it you could have surgery.

mayonaise, sugary drinks, meat, and most fried foods. I don't ever get cravings for fast food or greasy nastiness

If your sugar is coming from fruit it should be ok to go over, but I would look to see how much sugar is in the yogurt or other low fat/non fat foods you are eating. Those tend to have more sugar added.

I believe that there's vegan protein powders out there to help with getting a lot of protein since you don't want to eat any faux meat or soy. I think one might be called SunWarrior? I'm vegetarian transitioning into veganism and I usually eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and nut butters. Love me some nut butter :)…

I really like a salad made with spinach, lots of veggies, and some sort of lean protein. I recently found out that if I put some type of fruit on top it still tastes great will little or no dressing

Oven roasted veggies are the BEST! Just a little olive oil (which has lots of good fats) and some salt and pepper. Cauliflower, asparagus, or squash taste awesome when cooked this way.

I think the amount of carbs you need depends on how active you are. Maybe for someone who doesn't exercise or is sedentary doesn't need many carbs, but someone who expends a lot of energy everyday (runners, bikers, etc) needs those extra carbs for fuel. I tried going "low carb" to drop weight while training for a half…

I don't think you should think of it as a "cheat" day. I think that brings up bad thoughts and thinking that if you have one sugary cheat you failed on your diet. When I used to think of having a cheat day or meal, I would usually end up eating way too much junk food. Now I think of it as I get to allow myself a few more…

I love banana with some almond/peanut butter

I'm currently a freshman in college trying to become fitter and healthier. I don't have any friends on here yet so feel free to add me :)
