Thank you so much! We are maybe planning just a courthouse wedding sometime next year so that we can save our money to rent a cottage on the North Shore in Hawaii for our honeymoon....which means I have to keep a bathing suit body!!!

I am now officially engaged and have a super good reason to stay slim!
-
Well, it's official! I have a wedding to stay slim for. I'm so engaged!!!

Well girls....keep your fingers crossed for me. Going out tonight with my boyfriend for our two year anniversary. I think that he is going to ask me that very important question!!! Will let you all know how it turns out :blushing:

Hello fellow Ravenclaws! Checking in to say it's been a crazy week. I'll probably weigh in this afternoon which is a day earlier than usual for me but.....I have big plans this weekend! I will have steak dinner and champagne tonight....it's me and my boyfriend's 2 year anniversary. Keep your fingers crossed for me…

Eesh. I'm surprised I found this, just glad I did lol.

Just realized to top it all off....my Quidditch Captain badge is gone

Checking in to say UGH. I am so so so tired of overtime at work. It makes me exhausted and not want to work out, and yesterday I ate something I DEFINITELY shouldn't have. *coughfootlongchilicheeseconeycough*. I won't let that part happen again, but boy I am just feeling so BLAH with all of these hours  :frown:

So a friend of mine came back from his honeymoon last night. He and his new wife went to Universal Studios in Orlando. They spent most of their time in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. He even said they play Moaning Myrtle recordings in the bathroom (freaked him out as it was very realistic apparently). Anyways they…

Good morning all! Just checking in!

I am currently trying the Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, which is 35 calories a cup. I think after this carton I will go back to the Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. The Silk brand is a few less calories, but it is much thicker than Almond Breeze.

This looks like an awesome place to post! I also am down in my last bit to lose (I weighed in at 135 today and am trying to get in the neighborhood of 128-130). I have a goal set to have that last bit of weight off and be on maintenance by Christmas. I usually eat anywhere from 1300-1400 calories a day, I keep two firm…

Sooooo close to my Hubba Hubba goal I can taste it! If I can lose this weight AND keep it off for the whole of the holidays and still be able to indulge in some holiday favorites a little, I will feel so amazing! 09/05: 152 09/12:150 09/19:148 09/26:148.3 10/03: <<<>>>144 10/10:144 10/17:140.3 10/24:139.3 10/31:…

Yay thanks! It'll be fun having the Quidditch Captain badge for the month!

Major NSV! I have since I started trying to lose weight, always kept a pile of "someday I will fit into these" jeans. Last night, I took the last three pairs out of that pile. I no longer have a "someday" pile :D

Well according to the doctor-type scale at work, I am down about 2.5 pounds since the beginning of the week. Saturday's weigh-in will tell me for sure. Unfortunately I think a lot of it is stress-induced. My teen daughter has really had me running the emotional gamut this week.
-
When I first signed up for this challenge, I didn't think I'd make it to my goal weight (which is my official final weight loss destination) by Christmas. Now here I am, 7 pounds away from the weight I want to be and it seems possible! If I make it to my goal, I will for sure miss being with this group for the Eggcellence…

Grats to everyone who lost! And for those who didn't, keep at it because you will! I honestly believe my loss has been so consistent because when I started my diet this time, I didn't just start some fad diet.....I did a lifestyle change! I no longer eat the processed foods so much (if it comes needing to be prepared out…

You bet we can do this! One temptation is down for the holiday season (Halloween). Hope everyone did ok with not giving in and scarfing tons of candy. I had a few pieces but then kicked my workout up a notch this morning, so no harm done I hope
-
Hullo everyone! Hope you all survived Halloween last night without giving in to temptation too much. I gave in a little, but made sure to make up for it with exercise. I have a feeling Thanksgiving will be a bigger challenge.

Checking in with a public service announcement. If you decide to dance in the shower, make sure you have a slip proof surface upon which to shimmy and shake while you shower. That is all.
-
Sue, you said you were missing my weigh-in. I posted this yesterday
-
Well Sue, using the site u talked about I did the same calculations and according to that website if I want a 21% bodyfat I hit that at 139?? Which is two pounds heavier than I am right now and at 137 it's giving me a bodyfat% of 26.43%. So I guess according to that chart I just need to lose inches? Idk, I'm probably still…

On week 7 of C25K myself and I love it!
-
According to Runkeeper, my pace is about 4.6 miles per hour.
-
Also Shick I have to say thank you. I think at least twice now you've had something positive to say in response to my posts. It's always nice to get feedback and encouragement, and this is such a great place for that. I read in a fitness magazine somewhere that support on a website like this is way more effective than in…
-
Thanks! I clearly needed the rest. I'm thinking that since I only have 7 more pounds to lose, doubling up C25K and 30 Day Shred may be too much for me considering the hours I work. I'm going to ease back into things this week by restarting week 7 on C25K and then adding a bit of strength training. Jillian may be too much…

Well, with the R & R I was taking from exercise this week to let my body heal, I would have been content to just simply hold steady. But I'm actually down to 137.1. So, I met my October goal mostly (it was 137 and there's still a pesky .1 on there lol). Since my overall goal is to get down to 130 (Which as per another…

Well even after spending a more restful week and not working out for half a week ( but I did stay under my calories), I was hoping to at least just come out even. What a pleasant surprise! 09/05: 152 09/12:150 09/19:148 09/26:148.3 10/03: <<<>>>144 10/10:144 10/17:140.3 10/24:139.3 10/31: <<<>>>137.1 11/07: 11/14: 11/21:…
