I'm so sorry you've lost your Dylan so suddenly. :brokenheart: Your post sent me to tears, as well. I've been through the loss of many pets and each one is absolutely heart breaking. You gave Dylan a great life from the sounds of it and I know you will miss him greatly. I've been trying to prepare myself for the upcoming…

I feel totally ridiculous! I'm so self conscious. It took ALL my willpower to go to Zumba for the first time last night, and not because of the workout itself. Tonight me and the kids were playing Just Dance 2 on Wii and I was mortified when I realized my dog had moved the curtain aside to look out the front window.…

Yes, I think you actually may be. :)

That's too funny! There are really people like that????

Bumping because I just KNOW this thread is going to be my favourite.

:frown: I don't have any partners.

Happy birthday! You both should be SO proud of yourselves! That's awesome!! Me, too! These boards seem so...10 years ago.

Yes, in the 5 minute research I did (what kind of buried self hatred made me do THAT? lol) and found out most mammals do!

OMG, for some reason I just googled it. I HAD read about people doing that on Babycenter but hadn't paid much attention at the time...I was probably too queasy with "morning" sickness. There's a frickin' page of receipes! http://www.mothers35plus.co.uk/plac_rec2.htm :noway:

I don't think I could do it if I didn't add exercise in to get me a few more. It's a great motivator to get moving!

I'm pretty tolerant usually, but people like that I could NOT stand to be around more than necessary. I'm also wondering how she can work and be on welfare at the same time, but maybe it's different in the US. I can be pretty bad at saying NO, but in this case I'd probably find it pretty easy. NO, I am NOT going to the bar…

I've heard of several boys named Phoenix. I have Joshua John. Joshua because we liked it, John after my late father-in-law. Then came Marisa Katelin. Both just because we liked them.

I think that's what I like about losing weight this way...it's relatively easy to balance. You eat too many calories = you know you need to move it, move it! You have a great workout = you get to let yourself eat a bit more or have a treat.

This. They should get Disney to market it. Disney can market anything.

Oooh! Did you read the one on Babycenter from the lady who wanted to eat the placenta?? I wonder how many calories that would be?

Or what if the father you pick doesn't like the name Sofia? (Though it is a pretty name.) I understand what you're saying as well, and I'm glad you're waiting for the right guy because I think sometimes people want it so badly they do it with the wrong people. It's okay to daydream, but it could end up a lot different and…

I'm not. I think this post needs some more information. I'm sorry you're having that trouble, though. :(

I'm no doctor type, but after just a moment or two of thought, it makes no sense to me. I'm type O, and while I consider myself a proud omnivore, I don't think I crave meat more than the next person. As usual though, different strokes for different folks. Probably any strategy that makes you pay attention to what you're…

All my dancing turns out funny whether that's what I'm going for or not.

Just for the record...my thighs have ALWAYS touched as well. Maybe it's a short person thing. lol

I am a recovering emetophobe (fear of vomit). I have had it for as long as I can remember, but I didn't really figure out what was wrong with me and that there was a name for it until I was in my early 30's. (I'm 35 now). For the most part, I didn't recognize the anxiety symptoms AS anxiety, but thought they were physical…

Absolutely the hardest!!! And I constantly checking and rechecking because I'm paranoid I've forgotten something important. I wish I had all the machines at home, because with travel time, shower time, etc. I feel like it takes hours to get a workout in!

My daughters gerbil keeping me up all night eating his plastic cage.

McDonald's and me have an embarrassing history. I broke it off for the most part, but I do still have young kids and we get there sometimes. Now I'll just have a 6 pc McNuggets and a bottle of water. Resisting the fries is a workout on the willpower, though.

Y'know, I have NO problem eating to 1200, and then my exercise back. I am trying to make healthy choices, but I still easily max out if I'm not careful. I'm sure if you searched the message boards, though, you'll find that you're not the only one with that. I think the most common reply is to eat spoons full of peanut…

laloquita and Mrs.Blobs...thank you for your very inspiring posts! You are both so right. Blobs, I'm proud of you for not choosing the doughnut! And laloquita, you're right about taking it one slow and steady step at a time. :flowerforyou: Welcome to the new members! And FYI, my daily calorie goal is 1200 (for 1.5lb loss…

Arrogance. :grumble:

 OMG, thank you for the lunchtime laugh!!! I would have done the same thing! Okay, can't stop giggling at the thought of the next person find the 'chicken filet'.

I didn't see her specifically, but go semi-regularly so I know I am certainly healthy enough to throw some good food and a bit of activity into my life. I do think the 'consult your doctor' thing is a lot of COA (cover our *kitten*) on the part of businesses that have anything to do with weight loss or exercise. We should…

The Birth House by (I think) Ami McKay. I used to be a Dean Koontz fanatic, but he got TOO dark for me.
