I'm not expert, but I think today would have been a good day to take a break from all this stuff! Even if you did absorb any calories, I'm sure you're nowhere close to your target. Just get better!

Well, I WASN'T craving it until now.

LOVE IT!

Yes, it feels SO good. My mother and sister are both 5' 2" I believe and are big girls, too....but they're not really interested in changing that situation at the moment. Being comfortable and fat with them is easy to slip back into, so I've been hoping to get hooked up with some shorties that are trying to get healthier…

Thanks for the links and other information. I understand it much better now.

Oh, then I should be able to go a loooooooong time without worrying about that! lol Reserves, I have those!

Sure! I live in Northern Ontario and have a natural hibernation instinct so winter is tough! lol We can do it though!!!!

Gosh, that is a good question! I assume our body breaks some of it down into smaller elements and disposes of it through all the organs that do that, but there has to be more to it than that. Hmmm...

My thoughts exactly (except on iphone). It helps too that the food diary is enormously stocked, unlike other calorie tracking apps I've tried where I ended up having to manually input nearly every item I ate. That got old fast. Welcome aboard!!!

Old 80's rock...I get lost in that stuff. It works best when I'm alone and can sing my heart out. lol

I'm not a doctor, but personally I think you should eat healthy and exercise safely during the pregnancy, and worry about getting to your lower weight goals after your baby is born. Congratulations, by the way, on your pregnancy!

Welcome to MFP. I started only a few days ago myself. I get really motivated by others success.

Welcome! I'm a single mother of 2 as well.

I can give up a heck of a lot of calories, but coffee is non-negotiable! :drinker: However, I have given up my beloved CoffeeMate Double Double for regular sugar and milk. I've thought about weaning myself to black, but am not committed to it yet.

I'm thinking I *may* try for 125, which is the upper end of for healthy on the BMI chart. Since I have fat bones under the rest of my fat, going under 125 may not be that realistic.

OOH!!!! Please let me in the shorties group?!?! I'm 5' nothing, about 209 lbs. Even without the fat layers, I've got a stocky build so with it all put together, I'm quite the butterball. lol And I think I can meet that 3lb challenge!

I've been wondering this myself. I have my lifestyle down as sedentary, which it actually is...but hauling laundry, and vacuuming, and some other chores FEEL like exercise. I've decided for myself to put a chore down if it's already in the database (like mowing the lawn, etc.). I

I don't think so. The first ingredient is sugar. But it's sooooo good. :)

I'm on too tight a budget to pay for a site right now, so I'm stuck with POF. lol I've never met anyone...I'm too scared because I'm so fat. I think I could get over that and do it, but we'd have to correspond awhile for me to get up the nerve and most guys want to meet after about 2 messages. Of the guys I've talked to on…

I don't want to type the whole thing...but my friend was wanting to know if I wanted to do coffee tomorrow morning. :) I think I'll take her up on that.

Welcome. =0)

I wish I carried my weight as well you do, even before the weight loss. You look great! Good for you!
-
Wait. So you mean I'm going to have to eat LESS than 1200 at some point? Ouch.
-
1200 for 1.5lb a week. Side note: Being kinda new around here, I love checking out all your tickers...if you all can do that, so can I!
-
I'm so going to do this!!

When I'm tempted to snack I think about running out of calories and not being able to eat much for my favourite meal of the day...supper! That keeps me in line for most of the day. I'll grab a carrot or something to stop the hunger pang. I trained myself not to eat in the evenings over a year ago, so I find that part of…

Thank you. I come from a fat family too, and I seem to be the one most determined to do something about it. I love my parents and my sister and I worry about ALL our health. So maybe if I go first, they'll follow and we can all be happier and healthier. It's a wonderful vision to work towards. Thank you.
-
Awesome! Just awesome. Thank you for sharing that, and maybe putting some of my own 'excuses' in perspective.

I'm like that getting complimented about anything, especially physical things, and I always have been. For me personally, I think it is because I don't like the attention. That might be weird, but I'm a wall flower and that puts me front and center for a minute or two. Sometimes I even wonder if I've let the fear of…

That's a great story. :) We CAN do what we are determined to do!
