Log everything to give yourself a good and accurate knowledge of what you've been eating. It isn't a contest, it's supposed to be what you actually ate. Then, start anew the next day. I like to eat some protein after working out - a piece of cheese and/or ham, or a protein shake. Just a little something. If I eat carbs it usually ends up making me hungrier later. Do you eat before you workout?

What is your BMR? You may be eating too few calories. 1200 doesn't work for everybody. I'm one of those people, I have to eat more to be happy and healthy and lose.
