  • Probably not related but I often have an ear symptom after a particularly hard and/or hot Bikram class. It's like in a plane, when you take off, but much stronger; I find it awkward to talk to people for a little while after class. This has also happened with other workouts. It goes away pretty fast every time.
  • The standing on one leg poses are fascinating to me because they depend so much on mental concentration. But if I had to choose one pose I'd say the triangle because it works on many different body parts and it's not impossible for me to achieve (unlike some others that I'm too stiff to do correctly)!
  • As they say, just try to get through the class without any expectations, do what you can, and come back as soon as possible. I find it easy to focus when you just listen to the instructor and keep looking at yourself, calmly, in the mirror. If you start getting tense and scratching yourself or rearranging your towel or…
