  • I will also add that I rarely use the calories burned here on MFP. I just don't believe a lot of them in general. It seems that MFP gives WAY too many calories burned per exercise. So when it says I've burned 600 cal. from walking, I chop that number in half. I agree with what the others have posted too.

  • I am just starting this journey so it was helpful to read all the responses. For me, it always helps to break it down into smaller goals. I will look at just losing the first 10, then 20 and so on. I have about 130 to lose so a long way to go. I have to figure out a way to make this manageable or it will make me crazy.
