• I'm 52 next week. Been on here 10 years. It's been an up and down battle, but I'm firmly on a downward cycle now. I have 2 twenty-something kiddos still living at home while they attend college (and pay off student loans). I live in WNY. Feel free to add me. I need active friends to support me as I struggle to lose my last…
• Feel free to add me! I've struggled since I was a teenager. I lost 50+ lbs twice, but pregnancy and health issues derailed me. I was 265 at my highest. I am 182 now, and aiming for 160-165.
• This morning it was 2% plain fage greek yogurt with 1 Tbsp of Chocolate Pudding mix (powder) and 1/2 Tbsp of Peanut Butter. Mix that together and you have heavenly goodness that tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup....just WAY healthier :)
• I'll be going through the same thing on Friday. I have signed countless birthday cards for others in this building when their special day occurs. I finally stopped signing cards. When someone asked me why I wasn't signing, I told them straight out..."I have never gotten a card from you people on MY birthday....not in 25…
• I bought a zip about 3 weeks ago. I LOVE, Love, love it! I started with the zip due to the price (about $65 at my Walmart.) I figured if I actually used it and found it helpful I would perhaps upgrade later on. I love this little gadget. I don't even know I have it on. It counts steps, calories burned, miles walked and has…
• I just bought a fit bit zip (60-ish bucks). I love it. I find excuses to walk more.
• Chocolate Toast Crunch....just a handful stops a chocolate craving Honey Nut Cheerios
• White tea is my favorite. The only two I buy (I'm kinda picky about my tea) are: Lipton's Blueberry & Pomegranate White Tea Trader Joe's Pomegranate White Tea Oh, and I love pomegranates too :)
• My diary is open to friends. My macros are set for 48g fat and I go over that a few times a week. Sometimes by 1 or 2 grams and other times it's in the double digits. I don't get too upset about it though. As long as *most* of your fat is coming from health sources (lean meat, eggs, nuts, etc), I say don't fear the fat :)
• The World According To Garp, The Fisher King, Night At The Museum (who's evolved?) and Aladdin. NaNu, NaNu and RIP
• Make bedtime a family activity....I didn't read through all the posts, so if this has been suggested already, I apologize for the repeat. What I mean is everyone go to bed (at least pretend you, as parents, are going to bed too) Leave the doors open and tell a progressive story. (ie) Everyone adds 4 words at a time. You…
• BUFFALO BILLS It's hard to watch sometimes, but I'm a die-hard fan :)
• I am not a fan of Quest Bars. It's definitely a texture and after taste thing for me. I prefer and exclusively purchase Pure Protein Bars. 20g protein, 2g fiber. My favorite is the Chewy Chocolate Chip and the Chocolate Peanut Butter. Try a few brands and see what tastes good for you.
• You look amazing! Great work, thanks for sharing!!
• Love them, but illegal in NY.

• Pure Protein. Chewy Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Peanut Butter are my favorites and you can find them at Walmart, Amazon or most grocery stores. I am NOT a quest bar fan, it's a texture thing. Pure Protein Chewy Chocolate Chip (because I have one on my desk) 20g Protein, 3g Sugar 5g Fat, 200 calories of tasty goodness :)
• ^^QFT....what is this supposed to be, a Stepford wedding? Seriously, stop being so shallow. Bridezillas aren't attractive to anyone. Enjoy YOUR day. Chill out, relax and take care of YOU. I had bridesmaids of all shapes and sizes and guess what? It was a beautiful wedding. No one will care what size someone is wearing. Six…
• You misinterpreted #2. I meant if you're going to engage in the conversation that you feel her request is unfair, don't do so in a "it's all about me" type perspective (in her eyes). She has to respect that you are the bread winner and you need to respect the fact that being a SAHM is a full-time job with no pay. A calm,…
•
It's cheaper than a divorce my friend
That "D" word isn't in either of our vocabulary.
The "D" word wasn't in mine or my ex-husbands vocabulary ......things change. What does she do when the child is sleeping? Is she hiring a babysitter to go shopping at the mall or getting a pedi? Then, my…
• O.M.G. LOVE In and Out Burger. So sad that I live in the East and have to wait til I travel to the West to indulge. It's probably a good thing I don't have an In and Out close to me. Hamburger Heaven!
• Wow! 22.5% smaller than I think I am. Described as the "perfect pear". Although, I HATE being pear shaped, it did offer me a different perspective on being pear shaped.
• Pure Protein - 20 grams of Protein / 200 calories / 3g sugar. Chewy Chocolate Chip is my favorite!! I highly dislike the taste/texture of Quest Bars.... It all boils down to personal preference. If you're a texture person, you probably won't like Quest bars
• Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood Because "the next time that he (my ex husband) cheats, you know it won't be on me" Plus it pretty much describes what I wanted to do to his precious truck, but I had too much self control and common sense to actually do it, lol
• I've had success with it in the past and have just started it again yesterday. I dropped my calories down and it's the only way I will be able to stay at or under 1250. I will fast for 15 hours and eat during a 9 hour window (splitting the difference between the recommended 14 for woman and 16 for men). I won't fast on the…
• Me too! It may sound strange, but the taste is great!!
• You are absolutely beautiful in both pictures. You're after picture is how I'd like to look eventually. Not to thin, but healthy and toned. Don't listen to them. Perhaps it's jealousy. If you are happy, nothing and no one else matters.
• When I take my dog for a walk, we have a 3 mile route that includes going up and down some substantial hills, stairs and even a few periods of jogging. I count that as exercise. If I take him around the block for 10 minutes, I'm not breaking a sweat or burning several calories, but it's still better than sitting on my…
• Also bumping for reference. Thanks!
