I'm a 25 year old writer with fibromyalgia and arthritis. Married with a foster son, and have exactly 100 pounds to lose. Am hoping to have a healthy BMI by the time I'm 26, have moved down from the severely obese range to the moderately obese range. We can do this!

I love challenges! Love, love, love them. Would love to do this :)

I need to lose weight, but I'm also here to get healthier through exercise. I have fibromyalgia (a sister syndrome of chronic fatigue syndrome) and I need to get healthier to try and reduce the severity of my symptoms. I can empathise. Living with constant exhaustion and pain is no joke.

I'm late joining this, but as I'm a binge eater I keep track. Me: 16 The binge: 1 Good month so far, but it's not over yet!

Same here! I love mine! The colour definitely helps :)

Well done! I have 100 pounds to lose, and am only 14 pounds into that journey, so it's super motivational for me. You look fantastic!

Yep, I'm from Ireland and I'd never use whining. I prefer a good whinge ;) My high point is bringing my high resting heart beat down to a more normal level. I also feel healthier.

Thanks for the tips about Primark, I picked up a really good sports bra yesterday and can now forget about my chest while exercising. Seriously love this site.

I'm aiming to lose 100 pounds too, it's a long road but it's better with friends. You can do this!

I started with the DVD's yesterday and am already hooked. It's so much fun!

I sent you a request! I'm 25 too and have 100 pounds to lose (88 now, I'm 12 down) and this journey is so much easier with friends.

I'm doing L1&2 and have to modify level 2. I used to find level 1 tough, but now I love it. My body is really changing though, so I'm sticking with it! We can do this! :D

I'm in! Woot! I overeat to cope with stress, and am trying to break the habit of a lifetime. Some accountability would be great!

This sounds great, count me in :)

All three levels are on Youtube, so you can try it there and see if it's for you before you buy.

I have BED too. It's a miserable place to be. I haven't binged in three weeks, which is a record for me. I don't have any real advice, just wanted to say you're not alone. Best of luck with it.

Good luck! I'm on day 14 doing two levels a day and I love it! Though while I'm doing it, I hate it! You're in good hands, Jillian knows what she's doing ;)

This is so true. I'm a comfort eater with binge eating disorder, reaching for the junk food whenever life gets hard is my downfall. That's why I was 224 pounds at 25.

My aim is to lose 60 pounds by Christmas, because then I'd be a healthy weight (just) for the holidays. Great to have a group of people aiming for the same thing!

I'm on my eighteenth binge free day. I was on holiday with my husband and son and I realised that I had gone from being 'someone who could drop a few pounds' to being one of the fattest people there. I did this to myself. My mom is an emotional eater, and I'm the same. I got ill three years ago, and I found it hard to deal…

I'm an emotional eater with binge eating disorder. It's a hard thing to break.

I have exactly 100 to lose (92 now, I'm down 8) so I'm there with you. I've tried to lose the weight numerous times, but this time I'm really determined.
-
Yay, I'm in for 3,500!

I've had a fibromyalgia dx for three years, but I reckon I've had the condition since I was a teenager. I binge ate to deal with the pain, and here I am. With a hundred pounds to lose. I'm determined to get my weight down this time, if only so the medical profession will take me seriously!

Great post! 'Weight loss is not a physical challenge – it’s a mental one' This really resonated with me. It's so true.

Hey! Sent you a friend request. It looks like we have similar goals. I started at 224 and my eventual goal is 124. Having friends makes this whole journey so much easier.

I'm 25 and would love some company on the weight loss road...it's so much easier when you're doing it with people.
