I've been logging for almost a year now and I work nights 7pm-7am. I log from when I wake to when I go to bed all on one day. I wake up at 2pm have breakfast, eat lunch at 6 with my family and have dinner at midnight at work. And maybe a snack at 2am. I really dont eat after 2 am since I have GERD. So that's why I log all…

Definitely find out what foods trigger your symptoms. For me, chilli of any kind, homemade or out of can gives me major heartburn. Oh and Bacon! Losing weight and being active has definitely helped my GERD. I've had GERD for the last 7+ years and since changing my diet I've been off my meds. Except when I still eat chilli…

My sister has h plyori, unfortunately for her it seems to be a recurring thing. It happens to her at least once a year. Idk if it has something to do with her having multiple issue with her stomach plus Cushing syndrome and pcos that makes it come back every year, but her symptoms come back and she seems to usually end up…

I've been on topamax for a year and Half now for my Chiari, I didn't start losing weight until I started counting my calories and working out. Topamax did help me get off sodas because it made them taste Horrible!!! I'm on 75mg my neurologist wanted to bump me up to 100mg, but they call it the stupid pill and it does make…

I'm 5'1 & I eat 1800 for maintenance, no exercise (but my job is slightly active ).. so I'm sure if you workout 1600 would be a great deficit
-
Same here, I have about 10-15 pounds to lose but have been in maintenance mode to just satisfied my family. Especially with my health problems I was having. I lost 60# but over the course of 9 months, and EVERYONE would tell me how skinny I was getting. Including co-workers and it was getting quite annoying. Now that the…

Hey Everyone!! I have around 10-15 pounds left to lose! I've lost a total of 60# so far, my stats are 5'1 SW 202# CW 142# GW 130#. Feel free to add me!

I've been on depo for about a year now, I tend to hold onto a little bit of water weight (about .5-1# ) for about 3-4 days after my shot & then it levels out (or at least that's what it has been doing) I'm on day 3 today and so far I'm still up .8# today... Guess I'll find out tomorrow?!?!

At the start of my journey I had a few people on board, ( they were the ones who actually wanted to do this) but of course within the first 2 weeks everyone Gave up & So I was left alone, I mainly walked, and would jog when my body would let me. Just stick with it, I'm 2 months away from my 1 year mark and have lost 60#.…

Hey Y'all!! I'm 5'1 (27) from Tx, I started my journey in May 2017, so I'm 2 month away from my 1 year mark. I do suffer from quite a bit of Pain, so I can't exercise as often as I would like. So I mainly just calorie count and get my steps in. Calories are between 1300-1400 SW 202# CW 143# GW 125-130#

I work 7pm-7am here's what's helped me.. Pre-log your food in advance. Log all on the same day, Even if you have to go back a day since mfp resets at midnight, since technically our today is everyone yesterday. I eat my breakfast about an hour after waking up around 3:30p Lunch around 6:30p with my family and dinner at…

We have the same stats, I'm 5'1 SW 202# CW 148# GW 132-135# I eat around 1400 calories a day. My journey started May 2017, I'm hoping by my 1 year I can reach my goal weight.
-
I'm 5'1 my goal is 132# (the high end of a normal BMI) my starting weight was 202, so that's a 70# difference. I'm currently 148# so I'm not too far from goal weight!

I took a maintenance break for the holidays from Thanksgiving all the way up until New year's day. I ate around 1600-1900 calories (I usually averaged about 1750) I also did NOT workout because I wanted a break from it. I have been logging and working out since May. I gained and lost the same pound the entire time. Also…

My day starts when I wake up and ends when I go to bed. So I log all my food on the same day, because I refuse to wake up with calories taken away from me. When MFP starts over at midnight I just go back to the previous day and log it or it's already pre-logged, because I take my food to work. I work 7pm-7am & I usually…

CICO = calories in, Calories out.. using MFP the way it's intended. Plug your stats in, I recommend losing at 1# a week, Eat the calories your given, exercise and eat half of those calories back. It's all about learning your TDEE/BMR and what your daily calorie intake is, once you learn it, subtract that by 500 (500×7=…

I take topamax but not for weight loss (I have Chiari) , I was on 50mg however my neurologist just bumped me up to 75mg yesterday. I didn't start losing weight until I started CICO.. Topamax has nothing to do with my weight loss. If I didn't have Chiari I wouldn't take topamax, it makes you have what they call "slow brain"…

Same goal here! I've lost 48# of the 67# so far, with eating better portions and walking.. SW 202# CW 155# GW 135-140# feel free to add me.

I agree with walking, it has been my go to exercise.. I started my journey at 202# (5'1) just by walking a mile a day 3x a week, worked my way up to 3-5 miles a day 3x a week. Now I Jog/walk 3 miles 2-3x a week and do a YouTube video workout once a week that included push ups and other strength training .. I'm down to 158#…

I just want to say, I'm really sorry about your mom, take this time to enjoy what time you have with her.. I can't help with the emotional eating part, that's how I got to my highest weight by watching the 2 people I loved the most suffer and pass away 5 years apart from each other. I gained 25lb in 68 days while in ICU…

I Work 7p-7a.. I work a rotating schedule, Anyways my schedule sounds a lot like yours, but I go to bed at 7:30 am, work out when I wake up which is between 2:30-3:00ish. Then I eat a light breakfast at 3, lunch (which is dinner) with my family at 6:30, and then I eat good size dinner at work at 11 pm and maybe a snack at…

Personally If I was you, I would increase your calories, you want to start higher cause as you lose weight, your calories drop too. I'm 5'1 171# and I eat 1360 (500 calorie deficit) Check what your TDEE is and go from there. Here is 2 good website you can use https://www.iifym.com/tdee-calculator/…

I work nights, 7pm-7am, but I'm on a rotating schedule (2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off etc..) The days I work, I usually workout when I wake up (3-4pm) or I rest.. My 2nd days off and the day going back to work I like to do a morning workout and take a nap afterwards. It's a weird schedule, but it works for me. You just have to…

Once a week I usually eat a lean cuisine meal at work with a side of vegetable. It's easy enough to just pop in the microwave and scan the barcode, the carb count is on the higher end with lean cuisine meal and usually has little to no fiber so I usually eat it with broccoli or some sort of other frozen vegetable. The…

I just got back from vacation, and before going I was the exact same way, I was so worried about my diet. While I was there I still logged everything I ate the best I could ( habit I guess) but I did enjoy my vacation, I ate everything everyone else was just not overboard. I did go over my calories, but I knew more or less…
