I don't agree with that. I think the idea is you shouldn't eat and then go to bed. Well, if you're like me and don't finish work until 3 or 4 in the morning (I'm a writer) and your day starts later than those of the average individual, if I'm eating at 11 at night, that is like my supper hour.
