A lot of good information in this thread. I'm experiencing a similar situation. I'm just book marking so can come back and read it later. To the OP.... DON'T GIVE UP!

If you can't log everything why log anything at all? Isn't that your mentality?

I can add you as a friend. It hlps to have friends to keep you on track. I also promise to keep it real with you. I'll start by telling you that loosing 27lbs in 52 is not likely to happen at least not in a healthy way. That's almost 2 lbs per day. Its said that you can safely loose up to 2lbs per week.

Thanks for the tips. I know I struggle with late night snacking, especially since I get off late work at night.

Lol, neither do I. I should get frequent flyer miles for all my multiple trips to the bathroom. So basically I should apply some common since. Now that I can do. During the week I have been able to drink water exclusively, on the weekends however, not so much. Guess I got to work on that. Thanks for your input.

Thanks, that's good to know. I definitely not thirsty during the day. The whole counting thing was really beginning to confuse me. Do you think there is a such thing as drinking to much water? I know that sounds silly but sometimes I drink 12 cups a day and not because I'm thirsty, I was trying to meet my "quota". Thanks…

I was originally born in Richmond but when my mother remarried we moved around quite a bit (US Army). When my stepfather retired from the military we moved back to VA. Then I joined the Army, moved around some more and when I got out, moved back to VA, currently in Newport News. Guess I could never get enough of Virginia.

I buy already boiled eggs. I also use protein shakes and protein bars. I mostly use them as meal replacements. I also buy Tuna Salad. They are made by Chicken of the Sea and come pre-made and in a little to go cup. I'm just starting out though and this is what I'm using right now but always looking for new ideas and ways…
