I have this also. Pregnancy related as well. Chiropractor & yoga have helped. Also, I work at a desk so I make sure I get up frequently and stretch. Also sometimes sit on an exercise ball instead of my desk chair. You can get a chair disk to sit on in your truck.

You can add me too :)

Phenomenal! You look beautiful & so happy. Such a huge accomplishment.

I'd use it too - bleach & boiling water should have killed anything that may have been growing on it. You pick up more germs on public door handles, faucets, chairs etc than you will from that water bottle.

Amazing! What a huge accomplishment. You look wonderful :)

Happy Birthday! Fantastic job on losing weight and getting fit. You look wonderful :)

Way to go! You look fantastic. Way to hang it there & keep working, especially through those plateaus.

You look fantastic! I wouldn't care what the scale said if I were you either :)

Exactly! Thought the weight would just fall off... it hasn't, but the fat sure is. :) And I feel so much stronger and healthier.
-
Much happier :) And your progress photos are great too!

I took them at 2 weeks and 5 weeks. Will take again at 7 weeks and then 9 weeks - the end of the program

I was just working sooooo hard and eating so well... thought I'd see a bigger drop than I did. Patience has never been my strong suit :)

40+ Been on a weight loss roller coaster since I was 10. Weight-watchers, Atkins, starvation, shakes, pills... I've tried it all. The only thing that has ever worked is healthy eating combined with exercise. Determined that this time, the weight is going to come off and I'm going to be fit, and be that way for life! Feel…

It can be confusing and very annoying. I've built a lot of recipes for things I make/eat often using USDA measures - then I know exactly how many calories I'm eating in the food I prepare and I can quickly access them under recipes or my foods/meals.

I am 5'5" and the lowest weight I ever hit was 135. Looking at pictures of me at that weight, I look like my younger sister does at 110 pounds -she has a much smaller frame than me, especially on top. I have wide hips, a big rib cage, wide shoulders and what my loving friends always told me were "football player legs" :) I…

Thanks for the links and information everyone... your help is much appreciated!

I was a Diet Coke addict - often downing more than a 2-liter a day. Didn't seem to affect with my weight, but sure made me feel awful - made my joints swell and ache because of all the sodium & caffeine. And the carbonation wreaked havoc with my stomach. I was bloated & miserable all the time. Now I have maybe 3 cans a…

Incredibly inspiring! Shows that anyone can do it if they put their mind to it. BRAVO!

I am 5'5" and started Insanity about a week & a half ago. Starting weight 169.8. I've lost about 5 lbs so far, and probably about 4 inches total. But I am not using the calories I calculated per the Insanity guide. According to that I should be eating 2,200 calories a day to lose weight. If I ate that many calories, I'd…

Thanks for your thoughts - the meal issue is definitely one of the biggest problems. I am once again trying, but this go round I've enlisted the help of my children. My oldest plays football and struggled last year because he got a bit lazy with his fitness program, and my younger son has has carried 15 extra pounds for…

Amazing and very inspiring! I have a very similar weight-loss goal to what you had. Only hope I can be as successful. Seems like it gets harder & harder as I age. So glad to see someone not that much younger than me having such fantastic success. Keep up the great work!

My fit test was pretty much the same. But I stuck with it,and after the first week I already feel stronger & can do more than when I started. Was a tough week, no doubt, lots of muscle soreness, but so worth it. I lost 4.5 lbs and about 3 inches already. I do as much as I can, and any exercise I can't do (old wrist injury…

I do the same thing... broke my wrist a few years back & just don't have the strength yet to do many pushups. When I can't I do a plank - still a great core strengthener. I added pushups as I could manage and am now up to about 10. Keep at it, do what you can & you will get results!
-
Fantastic! I am so excited to get my muscles back after 15 years of little to no activity other than walking. And you are proof that you can be fit and fabulous at 40 & beyond. You are truly an inspiration!

Love it!
