Yes you need to be realistic. But it is worth being healthy and fit. I did it. No, I do not like the extra skin and wrinkles, but I'm getting older and I would have had loose skin and wrinkles on a chubby/unhealthy body instead of a slimmer more fit body. People who have gotten overweight shouldnt have 'trouble' eating 1200 calories. And no its not ok. its counterproductive. You cant tell me that you physically cannot put an extra 200-300 calories in to make your goal. that is psychological

I also reached my goal and then some. Now trying to loosen the reigns a little. Its mentally difficult and its very slow for me to add calories. Im super paranoid to deviate from what was successful. I have added my maintenance calories as my daily goal but mentally have trouble getting up there. I'm working on it.

If you have a Trader Joes - the unsweetened vanilla is delicious. It smooth and not grainy like some of the others

Eat peanut butter!!! Just don't eat too much. I eat it every day for breakfast and sometimes in evening for snack. However I eat only 1 TB - enough for a whole grain english muffin or just a scoop to eat. Nothing wrong with it!

you don't say if you are eating your excercise calories back - 1200 if the minimum net you should be eating so therefore you need to eat what you excercise to at least maintain the 1200 - if you don't you are below the 1200 and will therefore stop losing because it is not enough!!!.

I have had and made Polenta Lasagna. Just brown the polenta in a little olive oil and then layer roasted vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini and roasted red peppers. Marinara sauce and mozzarella or provolone cheese. Delicious!!!
