  • Not to bee in your business but thats too low calories. And btw 4 lbs in 6 weeks is not bad for our age. I hope you are at least eating back all your excercise calories. Don't be so hard on yourself.
  • also keep in mind that losing is not linear, its a long process. you will gain and lose daily. that is hormones, electrolyte differences. be patient. rarely does anyone lose exactly what MFP says you will - its a guide only.
  • you have to eat back your excercise calories. if you are biking that much and not adding those calories to your 1200 you will certainly not lose. you are in too much of a deficit.

  • I would say yes it works. If you do it consistently. Its worked for me-took a year, logged every day and excercised. Its not MFP that works, its you doing the work that MFP lays out for you. Up to you to do it. But yes, I am proof. I've lost 51 pounds

  • There are several things it could be, none of which are related to diet and excercise. Fibroids being one. I would see if you can get into another MD but its not an emergency unless you pass huge clots. At this point you are probably also anemic.

  • Love it. I eat a TB every day of regular old Jif on whole wheat toast or english muffin. I don't see any issues with it and I've lost weight while doing so. I love it and since eating it every day I don't feel deprived
  • The 1200 is net. So it sounds like you were eating 1200 and excercising and not eating your excercise calories. So perhaps thats why you didn't lose?

  • I have found that statement to be a load of crap - marketing by MFP. Everyone is an individual with their weight loss. I don't lose according to MFP - I lose according to my body and how it functions and what I do. Its a guideline, not the bible

  • What do you suggest to use to disinfect them? Soil is full of bacteria,fungus. 3rd world countries use chlorinie to make drinking water. .

  • Yes, I am down to losing about 1lb a month now. Very slow. But its not a race and I'll get there eventually. Only so much you can controle w/ diet and excercise, the rest is up to this body.
