Happy Monday. I did Insanity Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs on Saturday morning and completed P90X Chest & Back and Ab ripper X this morning. Upped the number of pushupscompleted for all variations. :smile:

I'm about the same height and weight as you and I was burning roughly 300 calories for the Month 1 workouts and 400 - 450 for the Month 2 workouts. Didn't do my shoulders and arms last night for two reasons: first I had to cut the grass and second, my left elbow is a little sore so I thought I should rest it. Back at it. Didn't get up in the morning but did complete P90X chest and back at lunch. Didn't run like I wanted to over the weekend - too much fun had to the wee hours of the night to get up and run. Back to watching my diet...

Circuit training this moring. Chose a deck of cards workout. Changed things up a bit - an Ace meant run for 5 minutes on the treadmill (previously an Ace for rest for one minute). Still rainy and dreary......ugh. P90X Shoulders and arms completed this morning. Really like this workout but I've got some soreness in my left elbow so I had to refrain from pushing it on some of the exercises.

I'm still here. This rain is really starting to be irritating though. Started by 4th round of P90X yesterday. Chest and back completed yesterday morning. This morning was a 50 minute run. Going out of town toward the end of this week so have to modify my schedule some - taking my running shoes so no excuses allowed.

I started doing a deck of cards workout once a week. You use a deck of cards to tell you what you should do. You can do pushups, pullups, crunches, lunges, squats, bicep curls, jump squats, burpees etc. Just assign an exercise for each suit of the deck. Shuffle the cards and turn them over one at a time. No work today so I did my workout a little later (still in the morning). Did a deck of cards workout - pullups, pushups, burpees and jump squats. Adding the burpees instead of crunches really changed the intensity of the workout. Have a great Easter everyone.

Great job. I think getting the workout started is the hardest thing to do. Once you start, you wonder why you ever considered not doing it.

Mine is kind of a hate but a love at the same time. I hate when I'm trying to do pushups and my dogs think that they should come over and lay underneath me. I love it because it gives me the motivation not to fall down on them.

Loose Loose is an adjective, the opposite of tight or contained. Lose Lose is a verb that means to suffer the loss of, to miss. Sorry....this drives me crazy.

I wish I lived somewhere warm (I live in Ohio). I have a treadmill in my basement. I watch TV and listen to my Ipod - time flies by.

P90X Chest, shoulders and triceps completed this morning. Last one of this workout for this round. Can really feel how stronger I've gotten with the pushups. Going all the way down now. :smile:
