I bought the fitbit and now try to regularly go for a fast 30 min walk at lunch time.

Plan beforehand and be determined. Stay away from bread and bad carbs. Order grilled vegetables or salad as your side dish. It takes longer to chew. If you have to have a starter due to a peer pressure, go for a salad. Stay focused and log in your food, it will help you not to go over the board.

I am trying to stick to 1200 kcal but often get slightly over to 1400 kcal or so which is more or less her zigzag. If I am within 1500 and exercise, I know that I am going to keep losing weight. I am trying to reduce carbs but her two week extreme is a bit too much, especially when she is reducing water in last few days.

I received it yesterday and did shoulder shredder. I have enjoyed it but I agree that she is a bit annoying :) I am missing a proper warm-up at the beginning and stretching at the end. Which days are you including abs videos? They seem to be missing from the calendar.

I would say it depends on your results. If you eat them and you are still losing weight and getting closer to your goal it is fine. I am not eating mine as when I do, my weight loss usually stops.

The balance between calories out and calories in is not right. You either have to adjust you calories allowance down or exercise more. I don't lose weight if I eat my exercise calories which is frustrating but it is the only way for me to lose weight. Don't give up!!!

Don't give up. In my case the weight does not go down if I eat my exercise calories so I try not to eat any of those. That is the only way how my body starts losing weight.
