I live in Wisconsin. There is nothing but beer and cheese here. And, oddly enough, all I want is beer and cheese. All of the cheese.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a bit over a year and a half. I'd be lying if I said the thought of not wanting to be a fat bride hadn't crossed my mind. My best friend just got engaged, so for now, I'm channeling my energy toward being a hot bridesmaid. ;)

I have the HTC Evo and I really like it. Oddly enough, my favorite part about it is the camera. It's nice to have something that takes good quality photos with me at all times.

Totally agree. Always gets me running even if I feel like I'm near collapse.

I just throw on Girl Talk's "All Day" album. It's a mix of popular rock and rap artists (think Ludacris mixed with Black Sabbath) so it's anything but boring, and it's super high energy so it keeps me moving.

I'm a hair shy of 5'10". I weigh 185 lbs. And I wear I size 10 jeans (without a muffin top). Seriously, to get an idea of what weights actually look like, I love mybodygallery.com.

I'm going to be a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding and she just had us go to davidsbridal.com and pick out a dress we like in her color (guava).

Oddly enough, I'm in Wisconsin, USA, too.

I think you're too hard on yourself. Things happen. Relationships happen. It's easy to get caught up in life and kind of forget about yourself. You can totally do this, though. Good luck.

Serious people make me nervous.

It's a rough situation, to be sure. But it sounds like you've already identified emotional triggers that may have affected your eating in the past and are determined to curb them. That takes guts and honesty and determination -- all good qualities that no one can take from you. Good luck. You can do this.

Be honest with yourself and others. Oh, and set realistic goals. Oh, aaaand be disappointed if you don't meet a goal, but don't let it throw you off track or discourage you. You'll hit it eventually.

Friends that don't support you aren't friends. That's just really a d-bag thing to say, really. Yeah, the pounds aren't melting off like in an infomercial, but you're losing weight and getting healthier. You don't need any more discouragement. Good luck, you're doing good.

I find that Jillian's face motivates me. I mean, yeah, I can yell obscenities at her through the TV, but I really want to punch it. And, let's face it, I'm going to have to build up my endurance to catch her.

I usually just have oatmeal with nuts and a piece of fruit. Keeps me full through the morning.

I'm 5'9", 190 lbs and wear a size 8-10.

Welcome! I really wish I had the foresight to maintain a healthy weight when I had the chance. It's probably a lot easier than having to lose 45 lbs!

If your gym offers it, I loved Pilates. I took a class a couple years ago and definitely noticed a difference after the 10-week session was over. I just moved from Kansas to Wisconsin and my new gym doesn't offer it (bummer). I need to find a good Pilates studio that's nearby.

I know exactly how you feel. It seems like I've been either dieting or overeating since I learned what the word "fat" meant. I get bored with my routine and instead of changing it up, I just give up. I've been my most successful when I stop looking at it as a diet and take it as a lifestyle change that will ultimately…

Here are a few of my favs: David Gray "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye" (Soft Cell cover) Feist "Inside and Out" (Bee Gees cover) Jeff Buckley "Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen cover) The Clash "I Fought the Law" (made famous by the Bobby Fuller Four) Sublime "Scarlet Begonias" (Grateful Dead cover)

I started C25K last Thursday. I think I'm going to spend a couple extra days on Week 1 because I'm no runner, either. Unless a bear is chasing me, that is. But since I plan on doing my running on a treadmill, I'd be pretty well screwed either way. :ohwell:
